Emotion plus Craft equals Art
64My 3d self-portrait
Some of my pictures, done with 3d software.
This is the trick to make your craft an art: infuse it with emotion.
You can be a master of your craft by devoting hours of practice. It will still remain a craft, till you pass on your feelings through your piece. A dish can be cooked to recipe-precision, but a mother's love added to the preparation and serving lifts it to the level of Art.
3D software gives you a blinding array of features and effects, but it's up to you to add a dash of emotion to cold software. Here are some of my 3d work, where I attempted to put a bit of myself into my pictures.
Enjoy!

You are not inept, you are my friend!
I just happened to have great tools, that's all. Anybody can be creative, if they put in the hours. I am going to write a 'how anybody can draw' kind of hub soon. I seriously believe anybody can!
Thanks Kenny. That will really be helpful for the motivated. Looking forward to the 'how to draw' hubs.
wow Kenny is there no limit to your talent?? I hope not..you will be very famous one day if in deed you already aren't and just making us feel good about what we can do if we want. Sounds like the kind of a sweet thing you are. and we all admire your talent and tenderness. well I should be speaking for myself I guess.I believe you are a very spiritual loving being and am so glad to be in touch...G-Ma :O)
Oh, G-Ma! What do I say? I'm as gabby as you say you are, but not in reply to this comment. I feel famous already!
Hahaha truly cool! You can really make all this 3D thing...simply amazing. Now I'm truly curious how to do it.
It's actually not as difficult as it looks, Michelle; Will start a series of how to hubs one day. Thanks!
wonderful. :)
Thanks, Iðunn, for discovering this hub!
I love the girl one, she looks like a druid, earth magic, something. lovely.
Could you do a hub on how you get all these cool tools and stuff? please!?
Yes, I should, seeing that a lot can be done with free software and tools. Thanks, Hazel!

Man, You are truly gifted. I wish I could learn to draw and paint like that. But I am inept.
All The Best.
