The Creative Process gives us three keys in its structure.

1- Current Reality

2- End Result

3- Structural Tension

Each holding equal importance to bringing us to the End Result we desire. This has eluded many, but with these easy to follow steps we can all be involved in Creating Our Futures.

Long Term Strategies in life usually create more stability and a greater clarity of the path we are to follow. Speed is not always the preferred method of operation....just ask the rabbit. Speed is definitely an asset when we are under the gun, but for our Long Term Strategies nice and steady will always win the race.

The End Result is the finished canvas of a painter, the finish line for a racer or the quality life for the family. The End Result is designed and fashioned for you and by you.

When we consider the three steps in the Creative Process so many would say the End Result is the most important. For many years in my life I would have agreed until I read Robert Fritz book "Your Life As Art." Fritz' book has brought more clarity and understanding into all areas of my life.

As I see my life as a canvas, bare without anything upon it, I find it extremely liberating. This is only possible if each of the three keys to the Creative Process are in balance and each feeds into and from the other. Creating Your Future Today in all areas of life is not up to the public opinion or what a current boss may say, it is and always has been up to us.

The reason most are in a situation where they would say " I have other influences, I have a family to feed or I have bills to pay or I have seen so many others fail." is all their choice. It was part of their Long Term Strategy. Just to live life as it comes. It will come, all to suddenly for this group and probably most unexpected.

The End Result may be so real that we can almost reach out and touch it......only if we are willing to sit down and plan out Action Steps. Dont worry if you cannot think of them all to begin with, begin with the one or ones you have.

These Action Steps are the fuel that came when you determined your Current Reality and then created your desired End Result and began to create. Or as we call it, the Creative Process kicked into gear and the Structural Tension between your Current Reality and End Result turned your Action Plan into reality.

Each of us are given 24 hours a day. The question is what will we use these precious minutes to create daily?
