English Language Schools in Malta

Learning English in Malta is easy, considering the fact that there are many schools that offer the best quality courses. Here are a few words about four of the most important English language schools in Malta:
The Elanguest School:
Elanguest is a well known English Language School in Malta. This school only teaches English to adults of 18 years of age and over. They offer fairly cheap accomodation for their students, and their facilities include: free internet cafe, free Wi-Fi for laptop users, comfortable, well lit, classrooms, panoramic roof garden and BBQ terrace, school cafeteria with an attractive courtyard nearby, and more.
The AM Language Studio
This is one of the earliest Maltese English learning schools, founded in 1987. They are, of course, licensed by the Ministery of Education and their courses are ISO 9001 accredited. AM Language studio is also a founder member of FELTOM ( which is the Federation of English Language Teaching Organizations of Malta), the association for quality English Language schools in Malta.
They too offer excellent accomodation conditions, and they have a „leisure department” which tries to ensure their students maximise their learning experience beyond the classroom. They have sport courses, like:
· Diving Into English
· Sailing into English
· Windsurfing into English
Inlingua Malta
This institution is a fairly recognisable brand. They are „in business” since 1980, and they have developed an english learning method of their own, which is called (not surprisingly) „the Inlingua method”.
Of course, they also offer accomodation and leisure facilities.
The Melita Language School
It is based in Birkirkara , a town in the heart ofMalta. The school premises is a really cool educational centre, equipped with „must have” stuff like air-conditioned classes/seminar rooms, a library and a computer-lab. The students can roam around the gardens surrounding the building during break-time or shop in the busy town centre. Birkirkara is well known for its numerous shops, as well as bargain-shopping in the open air flea market which is held every Wednesday and Friday.

Is there still a U.S. Navy base in Malta? Friends were stationed there many years ago, in fact that's where two of their children were born. Anyway, they loved it, but don't remember that they ever had a problem communicating with the locals. Good hub, btw. Very informative.
