Seriously, what the hell is up with the inane amount of "Indian" actress/photos/girls etc... you can't login to hubpages without seeing an absurd amount of these hubs. And they're all being posted by a small group of hubbers...
What's worse is that all these hubs are given such trashy names, with really weird fetishes like "hot indian women bathing" "indian girls belly buttons" and other really silly, borderline inappropriate names of the sort.
What's even more worse is that most of these Indian chicks aren't really hot at all. In fact, most of them are so darn ugly they probably have to creep up on thier makup. But that's besides the point, afterall beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I'm not here to judge.

Cool!! Another hub bashing Indians picture galleries. Ok my views may be unpopular or alien to most of the comments here so far but anyway here they are:
1) In India even many men due to societal/moral influences tend to limit their physical experiences until marriage and watching such pictures is a passive way of satisfying an innate urge which many folks in west find it extremely difficult to grasp.
2) More ever if these hubs are so painful please stop watching them as simple as that.
3) And also these picture hubs do bring people from search engines and once they come to hub pages they may even browse other hubs hence personally as long as people are operating within hubpages TOS I don't really understand this bashing but then I am the only non westerner who can understand this other side.
4) Btw I am not pointing fingers at anyone but in general in forums when people complain about page views for these hubs compared to their own hubs then is this a case of "sour grapes"?
5) I have personally asked a person who told me that picture galleries even if they have more page views don't have as high revenue earnings as regular hubs hence everyone should be welcome to publish whatever they deem fit rather than trying to prescribe what others should publish. Live and let live.

I personally agree with countrywomen and Teresa. Why spout off on it if it doesn't concern you, or is it because they are not what you find in Playboy or Hustler?
I didn't write this hub because I thought the women we're unattractive, nor for them being Indian or not of the Playboy type. I didn't write it because I'm jealous. I wrote it because there are so darn many of them. Why are there so many? I don't know what the hubbers' intents are, nor do I care. I don't care if you like them or dislike them, or like or dislike my hub about them. I just wanted to bring attention to them and see if anyone else felt the same way. Looking at the poll, I think some do.
The Indian hubs do bring a lot of search engine traffic to every hub here, and this hub even will come up in search engine rankings by people searching for what you do not like. I would say everyone has as different choice about what they like to hub about. If you do not like the Indian photo gallery hubs just do not look at them. I do not read the explosive political debate hubs anymore because those go in circles, but many people love to participate. Everyone has a different idea of what is fun to hub about.
Um well hate to be a fly in the ointment, but one of these hot indian chick sites, gave my Computer a bad case of Trojan horse, which wasn"to hot.
I disagree that Indian men are that chaste, Wow so that will make me totally unpopluar, but the ones in N.Z all see a fairly large amount of action before the arranged marriage, and some even continue on after it.
I have Indian friends, they admit to it. and their antics are way over the top.

mdvaldosta, I guess i didn't comment properly before, I'm sorry. The best answer I have is that they get enough traffic from those who want what they are offering and they too are finding their niche for money making opportunities. I just don't look at them.
Mandybeau- If you try to reread my comment then I certainly said that "In India" hence those who have grown up in their formative years away from India may just be from Indian origin(from outside appearances) but internally will probably will not have as strong the influence of society as they would have had if they were bought up in India. My own cousins who were married and myself can vouch for it. I hope you do get to meet more people who have spent their first 2 decades in India and then maybe you will have a different perspective.

You have as much right to write a hub about any topic how ever you want to write as much as anybody else who has a right to publish whatever they like. Also that poll doesn't give much wiggle room as the first choice of NO stop these pictures and the Second choice of YES I love "smut" leads one to conclude as follows NO agrees with this hub and YES makes one agree that they like "Obscene(smut)" photos. Very similar to the logic Heads I win and Tails you lose. Please do continue writing on any topic that you like as we all are entitled to have as many perspectives as possible. CC and CW- my take is this in conclusion, I would like to think of hubpages as a community of writers. I have several issues with the hubs in question, not with race, but with the exploitation of the women in the pictures, the difference between a model in playboy and these women is in playboy, they consent and get paid. I don't think this is the case here and occasionally I think I see minors on these hubs. not cool. the photos are often took with a disposable camera and look crappy and there is no content. So when I read a CC Riter hub, that's magic, but when I see some of these photos, I say, its sad that people are making money this way, and for me its sad everything revolves around the dollar including for hubpages. And I think I'm typing pretty well for finishing a six pack already.
Hmm. Sex sells, or so it seems. Maybe we can consider it a "niche". Like a lot of hubbers who tend to specialize in some particular domains, maybe these hubbers have specialized in eye-candy, even of unhealthy type.
But I will say one thing: Whatever little text these hubs contain, sometime border on nauseating. Sample this: Snaps of Sexy naked Mallu girl with big b**bs. I personally do not read them, though I always wonder where they get this rather huge cache of photographs!
I think it detracts from the purpose of the site. I thought this site was for authors, wanting to write? If it's just pictures, it isn't writing.
There was a long drawn out thread last year about how some wanted the Indian hot girl photo galleries to go, and others wanted them to stay. http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/5168 In the end Hubpages admin states as long as these hubs are within publishing guidelines that these will remain, and if a hub appears to break the rules then flag it.
Well, agree or disagree with the sentiment of this hub, it certainly got some comments, which for me means it was a subject worth raising. My opinion for what its worth is live and let live i.e. if they are inside the rules they are entitled to post as many as they like.

Well the poll was kinda skewed, and was probably done in poor taste. I tried to take a humorous tone and I really didn't mean to upset or offend anyone (especially our Indian hubbers).
GT- I totally agree that minors pictures shouldn't be displayed and may even be legally risky. I personally don't see picture galleries much except for marriage (where the whole culture, rituals, family interactions and general happy mood can be seen) or baby pictures(as I love babies and the lovely moments between parents/baby are magical). Btw about 2 months back I received one email from an unregistered user who is a final year student from India. He saw my profile and wanted to be friends with me...LOL Anyway the gist of the letter goes like this.. He said that he browses from an internet browsing center and he found this site from the browsing history. He is so happy that he has some pictures to look of all his favorite actresses since most of the other sites are blocked in there internet center. By the tone of the letter and desire to befriend me I presumed he doesn't have a girl friend and I did empathize with him. Although in my house we have had computer for almost a decade now but still in many parts of the world that isn't the case yet. You certainly are entitled to have an opinion as each one of us is unique with respect to our mental makeup.
Mdvaldosta- Don't worry my friend you didn't offend/upset me and in fact I was concerned whether I was over reacting or being very strong in my personal opinion. Each of us is free to say what they want to say especially here in US where the freedom of speech is at the very roots of this great nation. Yes I am sure many hubbers must have felt the poll was a humorous take and it wasn't in poor taste. We all are entitled to have fun and each of us has a different take on what their idea of fun is. Some like participating in forums, some like writing/reading hubs and some like watching galleries. I am glad we have the whole gamut of people right from a wide spectrum of great writers like CCR/GT and many others who just come to hubpages to post/view picture galleries. Thumbs up for stating your views(since it is better to express rather than bottling up these feelings) although initially I did get a little defensive since I am an Indian but I can totally understand why good writers like you/GT feel such galleries may dilute the core spirit of hub pages. Wow! What a hot bed of controversy! I would not have any problem with a well done hub about Women in India, attractive or not..nor would I object to a hub on tall men from Croatia, or midgets from the north pole... What I do take a dislike to, is the shameless commercialism in these hollow hubs. I agree with country woman, as far as men from India may enjoy looking at women, but can not both sides be accomodated by well done , content rich hubs, instead of most of these shallow, thrown together things? What kills me is they are very highly scored, so maybe it is something I don't get..as for me, I would like to see them go away, but I have yet to be elected dictator of Hubpages!

Even in India certain sectors (mostly truck drivers are known to be high risk individuals) hence it is unfortunate that your sample consists of such folks. We all have our views based on our experiences and hopefully you will also have better experiences with Indian guys.

I would definitely say that you were not of the dare I say "class" structure that I have come across, out here unfortunately, I have to say the Chinese usually paragons of virtue,in their own country, are committing crimes, such as murder, and stuffing the body in a suitcase, then hurling it into the sea, things that would not happen in there own country. In hindsight I believe it is westernization, which sadly Asian people are embracing, that is probably the main problem.
It happens the day the young Asian girls, and guys, come out here, the Western society is sick, and I believe that what you are saying, although I argued at the time, is that old values fly out the window, and the Peers that they have here are not of the same moral value as those in their Home country. I just found it hard to understand, how the older Indian guys, could not have been the same in their country. But after reading your comments I have re- evaluated my thoughts, and now have a better understanding.

thanks for sharing your opinion. We do need different voices on hubpages, just the same way we need different hubs. I am also a little annoyed by the amount of hot Indian Actresses hubs. Nonetheless, I can understand the financial implication of having the huge traffic for the posters. Some of them can be making a reasonable living simply by posting pictures. If the rules of the game in here allow these, I think we'd have to put up with these, just the way other hubbers put up with my frequently wrong grammar and spelling, and uninteresting jokes. Alexa shows that hubpages is going up in its traffic ranking. It also shows that the second largest pool of visitors, next to US, are in India. The Indian actresses posts have certainly contributed much more to this traffic ranking, and hence the financial stability of hubpages, than my hubs have. That's part of the reason hubpages admin (probably) welcome these posts. I used to visit a writing site called thisisby.us. The writing there was cool, so was the sharing and commenting. There were no picture or video posts (I think). The site is now gone, possibly from a lack of traffic and hence ads.
I think it's great to live with style. Nonetheless, it's still respectable to struggle and live without style rather than be dead.
