Battlestar galactica is the best scifi (science fiction) show ever. Some even claim it's the best show ever, period. Why such a claim? Here are some of the reasons why people are raving about this show.

Battlestar Galactica is not Star Trek

The show totally reinvents the entire genre. It smashes people's expectations. A lot of the fans of the orignal actually complained a lot because the new show changed a lot of things. The enemy cylons are now human! Some are even hotties. The show starts from the parania that cylons infiltrated the colonies, and it progresses into the questioning of what is the human person itself!

Action packed

Battlestar Galactica is action packed. The space battles are riveting. The music is epic. The plot is fantasitic. You get flipped on top of your head so many times since you never know what's what. The good guys become the bad guys, the most important character gets shot, the moral amiguity really gets to you. The dark drama happens way out in space but hits too close to home as the audience begins to have many deep questions about humanity.
