It's a win-win situation for both your wallet and the environment around you.

The installation of a traditional fireplace will run you up to several thousand dollars. In addition to that, there is the time that it will take to get it done. You will not have to go out of your way to spend countless dollars on maintenance for your electric fireplace. There is no need for screens, and no need for the extra labor needed to clean up the nightly mess of ashes and leftover debris. Electric fireplaces won't stink up your home, which also makes for less air freshener that you will have to spray, and let's not even go into how bad aerosol spray is for the environment! They are convenient for everyone, and do not have to stay running for a long length of time to heat up the home. They are just as beautiful as the real thing, but without all of the environmentally disastrous components.
