Hi all.  If you like this printer, my experience would be usefull for your decision.. I have a Lenovo / IBM ThinkPad computers, less than a year old, with a Windows Vista Ultimate operating system. It has worked, since I got it with my HP Laser Jet 3390-printer to which they synch with a UBS cable. It is one of the best wireless units, I have always used, and I use it anywhere in the U.S. with the Verizon Nationwide Access Service and globally with the Verizon Global Access Service (which admittedly requires a separate SIM card holder). Consider that a wireless printer that also color capability would be a nice complement to the household, I ordered the Epson 600 Wireless Workforce. I tried to download the software from the CD-ROM comes with the printer and it would simply not go past the second step after two lengthy meetings. It kept saying it could not find the printer. I called Epson. The first person I spoke with insisted that the printer had to be wired through a router to contravenes both the advertising and the instruction booklet that came with the printer. When I pointed out, he more or less confirmed that he is not with the product and turned me someone who (allegedly) was. It was followed about 2-1/2 hours trying every adjustment to both software and hardware on the computer and printer, all at absolutely nothing. At the end, the Epson representative said that it was a Windows problem and that I have to make it with Microsoft. Amazon was not good enough for the avoidance of product problems with me, and immediately agreed to give me a refund. Incidentally, a friend of ours works at Best Buy and told me that they are a flood of returns of this model for Epson exactly the same reason. I am quite surprised that a big name such as Epson would be something so "not ready for prime time" on the market.

I have an Epson Workforce 600 and it works when it wants to work, not when I want it to work. Epson said that it cannot connect via the usb cable because of a problem with Windows Vista. They have not been helpful and I have spent more hours than I care to count trying to get it to work. It is going in the trash and I am going to purchase a HP all in one.

This is the last Epson product for me.
