How To Erase Credit Card Debt

Doesn't that sound nice - Erase Credit Card Debt - you just go up to your debt chalkboard and get the eraser and erase it. Make sure you go outside afterwards to dust off the erasers :o)

I don't know about you but I've taken one of my credit card statements more than once, looked at the balances and imagined it was Zero, Zilch, $0.00, NADA.

Wouldn't that lift a huge burden off your shoulders? How much calmer would the house be if you stopped fighting about money? How much easier would it be to afford private school for the kids if you didn't have so much credit card debt?

There are legal ways to erase your debts that work. Two of the more popular ways are bankruptcy and debt settlement. Both of them will reduce your balances for less than what you owe.

With bankruptcy though, you still have to pay back most of what you owe. So while you may think it is a good option to keep your home and prevent foreclosure, it's not a good way to get out of debt when compared to debt settlement.

If you are not in danger of losing your home, debt negotiation and debt settlement may be for you. You or a company negotiates on your behalf with your creditors and aim for a settlement amount that you can afford and they are happy to receive.

You can legally erase credit card debt with debt settlement. One recommended company is Debt Shield.

Another way that you may fail to think of is making more money. When you make more money and keep your expenses low, you have more money to pay off your debts faster.

If you have one job, there's nothing to stop you from getting a night time job or weekend job. We could all use multiple streams of income.

Be creative. Think of things you know that you can help people with. How can you solve other people's problems and charge them money for? Use your imagination and you may soon come up with a new part time job that replaces your current job.

Make more money and reduce what you owe. Those are the two best ways to erase all your credit card debts quickly. Work each month on reducing your expenses so you have more money to invest in a business opportunity or build up a settlement fund. With a little patience, discipline and hard work, you can be debt free in no time.
