Erica Durance is a Canadian actress who is rapidly blazing a trail across our TV and Cinema screens. After modeling several covers for top glamour magazines, she shot to superstar fame playing  Louis Lane on Smallville and she is ranked at number 15 on FHM's 2008 list of "100 Sexiest Women in the World". Erica Durance was born in Alberta, Canada in June, 1978, the youngest of three children. Her ambition as a young girl was always to be a famous actress and when she left school she moved to Vancouver to study acting. She initially got bit parts in commercials and small roles in low-budget horror films but she persevered and the parts she was offered got bigger. She played the date of Chris Isaacs on his show in 2004 and then she played the love interest in several shows on the Sci Fi Channel.

Erica first appeared in Smallville in 2004 and became a regular the following year. She has remained with the show and has become the main character in many episodes. She has also starred in a number of films credited as Erica Parker, based on the surname of her first husband, Wesley Parker, whom she married in 1996. She married for a second time (sorry guys!) in 2005, to Canadian actor David Palffy.
