Estevan Oriol has achieved pretty much huge following for his stainless, untarnished pure brilliance photographic style. Proof of this is even up to now his creations of long ago are still being hunted and being used in different forms of media. Estevan has successfully captured the spirit of the Los Angeles street life. His work has found recognition in different parts of the world and to date; he is still one of the most sought after photographers of all time with almost 20 years of amazing works of art to his credit.

Estevan’s work reflects real Angelino style and it has sparked further interest in photography not only among the Latino community, it has already spanned various cultures. Perhaps his secret lies in that he has remained true to his skills. Unlike others in the field his work is not a fast-food version, he meticulously works on every detail himself and is led by his creative spirit all the way. Proof of this is the equipment which he chooses to work with, he still favors the Canon AE1 35mm over the rest and the medium that he uses - black and white prints.

Estevan’s work is not limited to camera work. He is always called by Christian Magazine to cover a shoot for them. He has found live billboards or stages (if you may) in the form of clothing. He also directs videos and documentaries. Last February in SURU, Los Angeles, Oriol convey a retro show.
