Estimating True Market Value With Edmunds Auto
If you are interested in estimating the true market value of your next auto purchase, visiting the edmunds website is a must. This is one of the coolest free tools on the net if you are considering a new car.
So what exactly is TMV?
True market value is a calculation of what others have paid for new or used vehicles. The best thing about the edmunds tool, is the system will narrow down the results to your region. In other words the value of a truck in Houston, Texas may not exactly be the same as the value of a truck in New York City. So results based on your zip code are key.
How to get your free True Market Value report?
The best way is to walk through their five step process that asks you a series of questions about the vehicle you want. Make sure to take note of the national base price, MSRP, and invoice prices as well. After these steps you will get a customized price estimate based on your zip code. But wait you are not finished. Be sure to select a couple of dealers on the final step so that you can get them competing for your business. It is way easier to begin negotiations over the phone and over email than it is sitting in the lobby for hours on end. The best part about it is they tend NOT to be push because they know you have other options.
So put the cards in your hand today. Don't suffer at the dealerships ever again. And head on over to edumunds.com.

Great Hub you have here :) please read my new hub about getting free online car quotes...
why is there so much emphasis put on beating car dealers. When you buy a bottle of water for 2.00 that cost the company .13, no one sets up websites to avoid that from happening. When you buy 3000.00 sofas that cost the furniture store 700.00, nothing is said. When you buy a home, no one posts what the home costs to build. You like the water, or sofa, or house, you buy it. The car industry is the only industry that allows you to see where each dollar goes-yet instead of applauding the car industry, we find ways to cut into their profits as much as possible, then go spend 4.00 a gallon on gas. The same gas that's now 2.00 a gallon.
