Eurocrave Import Tuner Car Show
Eurocrave is the newest in a long line of import tuner shows created by the guys behind Autocrave and Taiwan Reeb Festival in Southern California. This year was no different as Eurocrave was a new event focusing on European Imports!
Lot of Volkswagens, yellow one's, white one's, Rabbit's and Jetta's all over the green lawn by the ocean. Then came the multiple BMW's gleaming in there silver paint smugly staring at the Mercedez parked nearby.
The location was the park near the Queen Mary based in Long Beach, California. I arrived early and started taking pictures of the car show. Relatively speaking, the size was smaller than the major shows like Hot Import Nights or SpoCom.
There was more than the usual number of import models walking around or stationed near the cars ready for their pictures to be taken. Abbott Automotive had Sunisa Kim at their pavailion. Took a few pictures of her - see below. Tons of Asian girls walking around, models and just hot looking Asian girls. Hispanic and African-American models getting their photos taken.
In fact, I think Abbott Automotive was the main sponsor of this event. Hell, they had the biggest exhibitors booth and they had Sunisa Kim!
There wasn't a lot of people at the show. I'm guessing it was because the Nisei car show was being held on the same day in downtown Los Angeles. I left Eurocrave early afternoon and drove up to Little Tokyo to attend the Nisei car show. Man, it was a hellava time looking for a parking lot, but I found one and had a few hours checking out the Japanese import tuners!
For a show focusing on European imports, this was a pretty good start. One minor criticism. There was no bikini contest! Hopefully next year there will be a bikini contest! Not sure why there wasn't a bikini contest, the promotors have done it in the past in their other events. Like I said, the car show was still good.

Nisei Week Showoff Car Show
The Showoff Nisei car show in Little Tokyo was pretty good after I found that parking and walked into the parking lot full of Japanese imports. The line wasn't that long seeing that I arrived in the afternoon. The line wasn't long, but the lot was full of people walking around. That's the good part about coming late, less people in line, but less time to walk around and take pictures.
Gotta tell you that the traffic from Long Beach to Little Tokyo was crazy. I really don't want to do that again. Hopefully the two car show promotors won't ever have car shows on the same days in the future.
This import tuner car show was bigger, at least 10x bigger than the Eurocrave show in Long Beach. Most of the big import tuner car clubs were here including Team Hybrid, Team High Intenzity and High End Performance.
The models were there also. Just like last year you'd see some hot looking girls in front of vehicles. The Hybrid Bunnies were there this year and were hot. Kaira Kaye and Sophia Lin were representing. What's a better mix than a hot looking Chinese girl right next to a hot looking Korean girl? Maybe a Japanese girl, a Filipino girl and a Vietnamese girl? Yea!
Like last year, the Nisei event didn't have a bikini contest or fashion show. Regarding the weather, it was hot at both events. Every year the weather is extremely hot. So if you go to a future Eurocrave or Nisei import tuner car show, bring a hat and sun tan lotion, otherwise you'll burn.

Hopefully, by next year the event guys at Eurocrave and Nisei Showoff are on different weekends! Eurocrave especially got shot in the foot by being on the same day as the Nisei car show, which has been established longer in the import tuner community in Los Angeles! More people would have come if not for Nisei being on the same day as Eurocrave!
