European Football

So everyone thinks European football is briliant.

Sure honestly it is. The Italian Serie A, EPL, Bundesliga. They all fantastic leagues. But there's just something not right.

Foreigners.

I'm just looking at Manchester United. Ronaldo, Tevez, Vidic, Van der Sar.What's so special about them? They'll all non-England players. Just look at all the other leagues. Foreigners dominate the scene with loads of footballers coming from Brazil or Asia. Want an example?

German striker Marion Gomez was a Brazillian. Now he's Bremen's main man.

The problem is so serious to the point that German's DFB implemented a 5 for 6 rule. 5 non-EU players for 6 Germans.

But it's not enough. Look at Arsenal! A totally EU squad except there's no English player in the squad. How on the world is Capello going to get a player from Arsenal?

So really, is European football that great? Or is it all about the imports.
