Evan Rachel Wood is one of the best acresses of her generation. She is also incredibly hot. She was born September 7, 1987 and started acting in her teens. She first attracted attention on television shows like American Gothic and Once an Again. But she is probably still best known for her role as the troubled teen in 2002's Thirteen. Her performance was nominated for a Golden Globe. Since then, she has starred in several indie films including Pretty Persuasion and Down in the Valley.

Thirteen is Evan Rachel Wood's breakout role is is destined to be a classic film. Thirteen focus on a thirteen-year-old girl's relationship with her mother. Wood plays Tracy, the thirteen-year-old and Holly Hunter plays her mother. Their relationship is put to the test when the mother discovers her daughter is living a life filled with drugs, sex, and petty crime.

Wood's character is Tracy - a smart straight-A student-- but she is naive. She smokes cigarettes and cuts herself to alleviae the pain of living in a broken home. Soon she befriends Evie (played by Nikki Reed) who is the wild, popular, beautiful girl at their school. Tracy starts to experiment with sex, drugs and crime. Tracy gradually transforms herself and her identity, and it wreaks havoc with her relationship with her mother.

This is an excellent movie and was nominated for tons of awards. It received an 89% fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes.
