Birthday Theme for an Adult Birthday Party
What a great idea for an adult birthday party! Let your theme be "Events on my Birthday," and have several displays and historical information of big events that took place on your birthday. You guest can enjoy wine, cheese, and classical music as they mingle around taking in the sites. Of course if you are having an Elvis party, you'll want to play Elvis music. Just wanted to point that out. If your birthday happens to be on May 2, see above, try to get a copy of that movie and have it playing at your party. If your birthday happens to be February 25, find a copy on the web of the first paper currency and print out for you guests to see. Type up a history blurb on it and put it on display.
Birthday Preparations
Have your guests find out a great historical event that took place on their birthdays and have all of the share what it was. You can even make a "Guess What Happened" game to play where you give clues to the event and your guests guess what is was. Big sports fan? Tag your party with Sports history and big events related to sports. Have your guest show up with sports tidbits in their heads to share. Events on my Birthday Online Invitations Once you have all your ducks in a row for your "eventful" party, create an "eventful" invitation online. Create a web page, with super easy-to-use, multi media tools; send your invitation out electronically via email with a link to your page. You can bring your page to life by not only posting the details of your party, but by adding tidbits about "Events in History." Post a Q&A section to make it interactive and play a video of a big event that happened on your birthday. Your guest will be amazed. They also love seeing their own names on your guest list waiting for their response. Especially if you add their pictures besides their names. Your guests will be able to network with you and the others, making your invitation an event in itself.
Don't stop at the party. When you're party is over change the page up by adding video and pictures from the party. Play the same music you had at the party and post fresh, new questions on the Q&A. Keep it going! Keep this page as long as you like and you and your invitees keep mingling in cyberspace. Why not? It's free. Just go to Eventslisted.com and post your birthday event right now.
