Hands up who's fridge doesn't have at least a couple of promotional magnets on it. It seems that no fridge is complete without a couple of magnets that no-one really knows where they came from, but are incredibly useful so will stay there. It's a great idea to send people magnets in leaflets, or attach them to a product because they are that little bit more difficult to throw away than the leaflet itself. I have a magnet on my fridge at the moment that came with a restaurant menu - the menu went in the bin but the magnet went on the fridge and every so often we say "we should really go there". If it wasn't for the magnet we would have forgotten about the place.

It is very easy to get promotional magnets made up for your company or product, with many online companies offering promotional materials via a quick, easy service where you send them your design and tell them the size of the magnet you want etc. and they make them up and ship them out to you - it couldn't be easier really.  If you are ordering a massive amount you may want to ask for a sample first, most companies will be more than happy to send you out a few samples of the types of magnets they can produce for you (no doubt with their name on - it works, really it does).

It might be that you just want a simple logo of your company or product name on it, or you might want to go for something a bit more colourful, for example if you're advertising a pizza company a picture of a mouth-watering pizza would be a great way to catch someones eye and get them thinking about pizza - which of course would have your company name next to it so the logical conclusion is for them to call your company. Don't be afraid to be bold with your promotional magnets, make them stand out from the rest and they will do their job.
