Evil Celebrities Wear Fur

The Queen of bloody animal corpses...

...and her courtiers...

In early days men hunted for food and clothing and used the skins and furs of animals to clothe themselves and survive the elements. Today most people wear either synthetic or natural fibers, but very rarely the skins or fur of animals. This is a trend that has been restricted to the heartless upper socio economic classes and celebrities who just don't give a damn, people who on average actually make cave men look pretty sophisticated and caring by comparison.

PETA are the leading anti fur spokespeople, having quite a problem with the fact that most animals used in fur products these days are confined for life in tiny cages and then heartlessly anally electrocuted. That's if they're lucky of course, sometimes they are actually skinned whilst still alive, and anyone whose ever scraped some skin off in an accident can only imagine what that might feel like if it was being done to their entire body.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer loves her fur, and has been the object of PETA's ire for some time as she insists on being completely unrepentant about it. She even features fur products in her own fashion line. Pretty heartless when you consider reports such as the following:

Undercover Investigators from Swiss Animals Protection East/International spent the past year investigating fur farms in China’s Hebei Province and found that many animals, including dogs and foxes, are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal’s leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who, fighting for their lives, struggle too hard to allow for a clean cut. When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals’ heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals’ hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera, with only his eyelashes still intact. "

Kate Moss

Kate Moss wears fur, but she also smokes crack and has become engaged to Pete Doherty, so her judgment is pretty much permanently impaired. It is also debatable as to whether she actually suffers more through constant starvation and the effects of class A drugs than perhaps the animals who suffer a few miserable months of life. If so, then I would postulate that she perhaps deserves to.

Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan

These three are indisputably total fashion airheads who will wear anything that shows off their T&A, so it is hardly surprising that they too wear fur. I would write more, but really I think it's a case of nuff said here.

I don't see how someone could ever have the heart to skin an animal alive.

Paris Hilton is wearing a necklace that says "love" on it. Why is she wearing that if she is wearing a dead animal.

I will never wear fur because my eyes are open. The fur trade is unbelievably cruel and anyone who buys fur coats is fueling this evil industry.

You can see exactly what happens below, but beware, not for sensitive viewers.

That video was more than likely staged. It was never shown on legitimate television news programs because the FULL, UNEDITED version was never submitted (the "filmers" refused to surrender that version). Animal "rights" activists have been known to do this to promote their cause. There are records of this happening with the seal hunt as far back as 1964. No fur-farm operator in their right mind would skin a fur-bearer alive because these animals have sharp teeth and claws. They are handled very carefully and treated better in captivity than their lives in the wild where their livespans would be shortened even moreso by becoming something's meal (maybe eaten alive), or succumbing to a disease like mange (painful; takes a long time to die) or rabies, or to the ravages of starvation. Time to stop believing emotional animal "rights propaganda and the Disney kiddie animation flicks where critters are anthropomorphized into cute "little people wearing fur coats". With the economic meltdown, wars raging across the Middle East and Africa, and other problems facing society, you really have too much time on your hands if you are immature and childish enough to worry about someone wearing a fur coat, which is really an individual's right and free choice. Grow up, stop being hateful bullies, and find a truly meaningful cause or concern to fill your empty, wasted lives like helping the homeless, assisting an inner-city child in a literacy program, volunteering to help cancer, AIDS, Alzheimer, or heart patients.

Well said, Veronika. You also forgot to mention that overpopulation (which leads to disease) and old age (they lose their teeth or become crippled and arthritic and starve to death very slowly or else get eaten by something larger or a vulture). Some of these items look really nice

Well I think alot of you live in dreamworld.......There are many atrocities that happen in this world that dont make it to the news.....Animals have been slaughtered for years and not made it to the news...So Veronika to beleive that because it has not made the news is proof that it doesnt happen really shows how niave and young she just so happens to be. I have worked very high in government and you would be amazed and disheartened to find out the things that governments across the the world take away from us and hide from us....and yes media will turn a blind eye to things at times when there is enough encentive to do so....Do not foolishly beleive that all evidence you come across to prove these animals are skinned alive are false because whilst some may be 'fictionalized'...sadly many are not.....Animals have suffered for many years at the hands of man...And yes animals also suffer in the wild...does that make it right for us to skin them alive and stand on their necks and torture them...No it does not and anyone who believes otherwise really needs their heads read. Yes there are many many causes across the globe and many of those causes have started at the hands of "human greed"...the global recession that is happening right now is because of greed in the first place and bad management....starving children are at times due to someone higher up being greedy. Please dont say that because people have taken up a cause on animal rights that they have too much time on their hands. It is commendable that people have a cause and everyone in this 'free world' is entitiled to whichever cause they want. Whether it be for human suffering or animal suffering...it is up to them....Telling them they have too much time on their hands is wrong and disrespectful to them.... You follow your cause and let these young people here follow theirs.

What people like Veronika fail to grasp in their opinion that everybody should focus their attention on more human-related issues is that this opinion, itself, is an excuse to narrow the field yet further to seclude anything and everything that does not effect each individual on a personal level.

"With the economic meltdown, wars raging across the Middle East and Africa, and other problems facing society, you really have too much time on your hands if you are immature and childish enough to worry about someone wearing a fur coat, which is really an individual's right and free choice. Grow up, stop being hateful bullies, and find a truly meaningful cause or concern to fill your empty, wasted lives like helping the homeless, assisting an inner-city child in a literacy program, volunteering to help cancer, AIDS, Alzheimer, or heart patients."

What are we excluding, next? Because there are wars, should we "grow up" and forget about the rest of planet? Should we simply let it fix and maintain itself because we have "truly meaningful" things to concern ourselves with? What are we going to do about reforestation? How do we prevent further decay of our planet's ozone? Are these insignificant to you because it isn't a human life that we're directly and immediately saving? Without plants, we suffocate. Without an ozone, we burn. Abusing other animals simply because we're the dominating species on this planet, is that really a reasonable example of taking responsibility for ourselves and the world around us? So, simply because it isn't human, what else should we ignore? Sure, it is everybody's free choice to wear fur. It is also everybody's free choice not to. After being educated about what gasoline does to our environment and the lengths we'll go to obtain it, is it problematic and dangerous exclusively because the means to obtain it involves the forfeit of human lives? Is that truly the sole reason so many are seeking alternative fuels? What is so different about fighting for the fair treatment of all other animals that co-occupy this planet? Yes, I said other animals. Some people seem to forget we share the kingdom animalia, whether we abuse the others or not. Why kill humans in foreign nations for crude oil that is already within our reach? Why kill animals for skin when we have our own? Aside from that, we possess the technology and skill to produce what we call faux or "faux-skin", which can and often does both look and feel just the same as animal fur without the need to butcher said animal. What would it take for you to understand that this is unnecessary? Should we lock you into a cage, neglect you until we want your skin and remove it from you while you're still alive just so another animal can wear it when they could easily have produced something in equal likeness without putting you through such abuse? You claim we're the bullies in all of this while you're willing to mutilate another animal to wear its fur when there is no need for it. Congratulations, hypocrite. Enjoy your ignorance.
