I just purchased Evolve Dry Maintenance Formula for my cat, thinking it was a good alternative to commercial-grade food. It cost $25.00, with S&H, for a 7 lb. bag. Was I wrong to buy this??? Should I return it? HELP!
Cie,
If a car company was known for producing "lemons" would you invest $20,000 in the new cars they produce? Don't feed something to your pets which has a history of recalls and pet deaths and illness. I can't tell you to send the product back but I'm not feeding a product known for killing pets to my dog or cats.
Susan
I had no idea that Evolve was part of the recall before the day I stumbled across your site. I read the government page and Evolve was NOT on it when I ordered the food for my cat through "Waggin' Tails," a major online pet-food chain. OBVIOUSLY I didn't want to invest $25.00 in "a product known for killing pets," as you so bluntly put it. I want my cat to stay HEALTHY. I asked you for advice, not for an irrelevant analogy to buying a car. Your response was neither helpful nor informative--in fact, it was quite rude. Thanks for nothing.
Cie,
I am sorry if I came across as rude. I am trying to stress to you and others this product is and has been deadly to pets. If I had purchased the product, I would return it without further question.
Susan

Sherry,
I've emailed the company with the very question. If there seems to be no reason for the recall then why is the product being recalled!
