The Accepted Signs of Aging

Ask yourself the question. Do I have too much fat?

Ouch. There's a sore spot! Excess Body Fat: most of us have it. There’s no getting around it. The truth is, even if you are NOT overweight - you probably carry around excess body fat. What about that little roll of belly fat around your middle or the 5 to 10 pounds you’ve never been able to lose? That’s right: excess body fat.

You might think that it’s a normal process of aging - that everybody has it. And, in part, you are correct. As we grow older, the normal aging process begins to happen whether we like it or not. Part of that process usually includes a slowing metabolism - paving the way for the accumulation of unwanted body fat, loss of lean muscle and a multitude of other effects.

Did you know…?

Excess body fat has a direct impact on what are called the bio-markers of aging. With excess fat becoming a critical issue in regards to modern day health, consider these biomarkers that may impact YOUR health and the aging process. That list would include things like: lean muscle mass, your cholesterol ratio, blood pressure, how fast you burn calories (your metabolism) and blood sugar levels.

Somehow in our modern day world, symptoms from the above list of biomarkers have become accepted signs of aging. Think about it: The accepted signs of aging. Stop for a moment and ask yourself if you really want to play that game. I’m here to suggest that you don’t have to.

Fat Loss and Lifestyle Changes are Key Ingredients

The issue of fat loss is a key ingredient to better health. Typically, when the human body loses weight under normal circumstances, that weight loss includes about 50% fat and 50% lean muscle - a ratio of 1:1. What if you could change the ratio - keeping more lean muscle? The good news is: a new technology is now available that addresses the issue of fat loss, while keeping more lean muscle - changing the 1:1 ratio to more like 3:1 - burning nearly 3 times the amount of fat compared to lean muscle.

Whether you need to lose a little fat or a lot, what you choose to do about it will directly affect your health, your body image and HOW you age. The normal process of aging doesn’t have to end with becoming overweight, carrying excess body fat and burdened with health problems. By taking charge of your weight, your fat loss and your health, you CAN impact your biomarkers of aging.
