Exclusive Metal Art from WHoArtNow
67Metal Art
As artists, we're forever coming up with new ideas for modern art. We;re continuing to produce bespoke canvas art, and now we're adding to that with this Metal Art range which will be available at the end of March 2009. It's been a few months of testing, sourcing, and most importantly, spraying!
It's a relatively simple idea for art work. We're hand spraying onto sheets of stainless steel, simple yet effective. The use of the stainless steel, along with two coats of quality lacquer, mean that these pieces of art can be used both inside, and out making a stunning piece of art for your garden over the summer.
As you can see from the picture of Darth Vader below, the finish is a soft reflection on the metal, these pictures truly don't do this art justice. To show this, the strange yellow colour around his eyes is a reflection of light and not part of the design.
Instead of printing onto the metal, we're producing these by hand here in the UK. Once the image is created, we apply 2 coats of automotive lacquer to ensure a 100% weatherproof piece of art.
To begin with, we're launching 12 exclusive pieces of art, including the Daft Punk, Slash and Darth Vader pictured here, there will also be Scarface, R2D2, Oasis and Terminator pictures. Our resident street artist Frazier Boyd is also working on some designs which should be available later in the 2009.

The medium (pictured) piece of Metal art, will measure 62 cm x 55 cm (24.5" x 21.5") and only 2 mm thick. More sizes will be added as more art is created with smaller and larger becoming available to suit your budget. This size will be launching at roughly £99 (£11.95 P&P) but prices will be finalised by the end of the month when we've sourced the best and cheapest metals.
Included in the price, will be the 4 1" mounts required to get the piece of metal to sit slightly off the wall. The metal is already drilled, all you have to do is drill into the wall.

Thank you very much.
I sell my art through www.WHoArtNow.co.uk under the name www.FrazierBoydco.uk
I know a lot of people who use Etsy, it's a very good service
These are great - what about Brando's Godfather face; the famous madeleine McCann picture with the strange eye detail - yes, she's become an icon, and who kows is she's alive your art might help to find her; as you are UK based - something for the 2012 Olympics and for the footy squad a piece for 2010 in RSA ?
Thanks a lot Julie. We have a Godfather image waiting some narrower pieces of metal :D
Not sure about Maddy, she was from Rothely which is on my way to work, a lot of people are very touchy about the subject.
We were thinking a range of Olympics 2012 stencils, mainly to try and attract the pubs in London!

Beautiful, I hope you sell well. Did you try selling at Etsy.com? My painter friend from Spain has put her paintings there.
