Exercise Myth #1: Exercise hurts.

Wrong! If you are experiencing any pain when exercising, there is a likely chance you are doing your movements wrong. Healthy movement, the type that builds muscle and restores health, should be comfortable, not painful. The staff at your Maximized Living Health Center can help demonstrate and plan your perfect exercise routine! Talk with your doctor about areas of interest and ask for their help when pain strikes!

Exercise Myth #2: Workouts take hours out of your busy day.

Exercise is about gaining health. Exercising hours each day could become hazardous to your health if you have not consulted your doctor prior to your workout. When done correctly, a complete workout should take under half an hour.

Exercise Myth #3: Expensive gym memberships equal results.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, expensive gym memberships could potentially hurt your workout routine, not help! While gyms offer an extensive lineup of fancy machines, simple arm and leg weights could give you the same results.

Exercise Myth #4: Exercise is only for the young and fit.

An exercise plan is essential for each person, regardless of age, weight or fitness level. Simple exercises help protect each individual from dangerous and deadly development of disease and could even slow down the aging process. There’s no excuse for not integrating a regular movement schedule.

Exercise Myth #5: Exercise is only for bodybuilders and athletes.

Movement is necessary for survival. While bodybuilders and athletes have higher intensity and longer interval workouts, their regimen is just as important as a regular person. Exercise will help strengthen and protect your body making it important in every man, woman and child’s life.
