Exercises to Get Taller
54Do you want to get taller? Aren’t you satisfied with your height? Do you feel yourself miserable and unhappy due to short height? Does becoming tall appear an unbridgeable task for you? Surely, it’s not easy, but it’s not impossible either.
Just by doing regular exercises to get taller and eating right food that will stimulate your growth hormone secretion you can grow higher naturally, that is without taking expensive pills or opting for the dangerous and painful surgery.
One study shows that the level of production of the growth hormone is in direct proportion to a person’s physical activity. That’s why it’s rather useful to sprint and to stretch on a regular basis. Of course, regular exercises positively influence the general health, too.
As for stretching exercises, there are many of them. You can choose those that are the most comfortable for you. One of the simplest and most famous stretching exercises is hanging. Besides, stretching exercises include the following:
- Cat stretch. You stand on the floor on your hands and knees with the straight back. Raise your head while inhaling. Then lower your head while exhaling and round your back off. Repeat this exercise every 3-8 seconds.
- The bridge. Lie on the floor with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Hold your ankles while raising your hips and part of the back up to the ceiling. Fix the end position for some seconds and relax.
- The Yarn. Hold your hands together behind your neck, bend your head up and back as much as possible. Repeat this exercise several times.
These are only three of many stretching exercises you can practice to get taller. You can also try “the table”, “the bow”, “wall stretch” and so on.
How to Increase Height Naturally
Most people of the world want to be a little bit higher. Several try different pills, others address to surgery. But these are unnatural methods of increasing growth. They have many side effects, including headache, nausea, increasing fatigue, insomnia and etc. But if you want to increase your height, it’s not necessary to use these ways. Why sleep is so important for our health, especially for our height? Most of us, spending one third of our day in sleep, don’t even think about high importance of sleep. Sleep is process, prompted by natural cycles of brain activity and consists of two basic states: rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep and non-rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which consists of four stages. During NREM sleep (the deepest stages of sleep) the body repairs and restores tissues, builds bone and muscle and strengthens the immune system. It’s REM sleep, when we see dreams. Poor quantity and quality of sleep is not OK. Lack of sleep causes so called “sleep dept”, which as all dept must be paid. It may surprise you to learn that chronic sleep deprivation, for whatever reason, greatly affects your health, performance and safety. That’s why you should pat great attention at quantity and quality of your sleep.
If you suffer from insomnia, before buy hypnotic pills try natural ways as relaxation techniques that include meditation, warm (not hot!) bath, massage, quiet soft music, reading book (but not fascinating detective or something like that), herbal tea, glass of warm milk with piece of cracker before bedtime.
In general good sleep hygiene means persistent bedtime, 7-8 hours sleep, avoiding caffeine, nicotine and alcohol before bedtime, relaxation techniques before going to bed (they are needed to break connection between sleep and stress accumulated during the day). Besides minimize noise, light and temperature extremes. Do not eat, watch TV or avoid emotional discussing in a bed.
So follow these simple advice and your chances to increase your height will greatly rise.
