Exotic Style Fish Fillet

RECIPE:

 

Ingredients:

 

Fish fillet (buy a ready pack at the grocery of fillet your own)

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp ground black pepper

1/3 cup melted butter

¼ cup garlic (chopped)

1/3 cup red onion (chopped)

½ cup green bell pepper (diced)

½ cup red bell pepper (diced)

2 cups garbanzos (canned chick peas, drained)

1 cup carrots (diced)

 

Directions:

 

  1. Marinade fish in oyster sauce, soy, lime juice, and ground pepper in a clean plastic container for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a non-stick pan, sauté garlic in butter until golden brown. Add onions.
  3. Add fish, including marinade. Without mixing, cover and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Add garbanzos and carrots. Reduce fire to low and simmer for 10 minutes (covered).
  5. Mix in green and red bell peppers and simmer for 8 more minutes. Serve in a plate.
