Exposing Demons and Witchcraft

This information is researched and also taken from my own personal experiences. It may seem too some a bit far fetched but it is very real. Demon spirits can invade and indwell human bodies. It is their objective to do so. By indwelling a person they obtain a greater advantage in controlling that person than when they are working from the outside. When demons indwell a person that person is said to "have evil spirits, to be possessed" with demons.
A Christian can not be demon possessed because a true Christian is owned by or has Christ in them. Being possessed by the Holy Spirit. I had rather any day have the spirit of Christ living in me. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE !!!
Jesus has purchased the believer with His own blood and has made him a steward over his own life.

Below are a few words I have listed and give the definition for you to help to better understand:

1. spirit: the life principle in human beings, breath, (B) soul sense, life, will, thought, etc...(c) supernatural being
2. spiritualism: the belief that the dead surrive as spirits which can communicate with the dead.
3. soul: an enitity without material reality, regarded as the spiritual part of a person, that which survives after death (b)The moral or emotional nature of a person.
4. sorcery: the supposed use of an evil supernatural power over people; witchcraft.
5. witchcraft: the practice that involves the use of divination, the practice of magic, supernatural powers.
6. demons: Those angels who sinned with Satan by following him when he revolted against God.
Some are confined (2 Peter 2:4) but many are active in the world. (Matthew 12:43-45). They seek to thwart the purposes of God. (Ephesians 6:11-12), they promote their own system of doctrine. (1Timothy 4:1), they can inflict diseases(Matthew 9:23) and possess the bodies of men and of some animals. (Matthew 4:24, Mark 5:13).

Schemes=craftiness: The believers enemies are the demonic host of Satan, always assembled for mortal combat.
Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the full armor of God that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces (principalities) of wickedness in the heavenly (high) places.

Principalities: tells us that the Satanic kingdom is highly organized. Satan is the head of his kingdom and has under him a rank of ruling spirits ultimately subject unto himself. (there is only one Satan {devil} -many demons).

From this it is clear that there are ruling demon spirits placed by Satan over nations and cities in order to carry out his evil purpose. We are told that our warfare is against powers. This word is accuratley translated as"authorities".
The Christian soldier need not be dismayed or discouraged to learn that those whom he faces have been given authority, for the believer has even greater authority. He is vested with the authority of the name of Jesus.
Mark 16:17 And these signs will follow them that believe, in My name they will cast out demons...
Demons are forced to yeild to the name of Jesus !

Today Satan is flaunting his power through spiritualism,occultism, false religions, witchcraft, the seeking of mediums etc...In many cases a person that has been involved in the occult practices maybe hindered from receiving from the Holy Spirit. It could be from something that seems to be harmless such as playing with an Ouija Board. No matter whether it is done out of ignorance or knowingly it will open the door for demonic oppression and hinder the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is important to rid oneself of everything that has been invited in through the occult realm.

The fruit of the spirit is a special target for the enemy. Love is a principal of the first fruit. Love should be received as well as given.

One of the many things that the devil uses to draw people into his snare is as I mentioned before witchcraft. I can tell you from past experience, it does cause harm. To the person and the soul if not delivered from this.
Satan is a liar and the father of lies. He comes like a roaring lion, seeking whom he can devour. He came to steal, kill and destroy. (Jesus came that we would have life).
When our attention is drawn to seeking a power that is not of God and use it for our benifit and our purpose, we go against the very thing God tells us not to do. Only God knows our future. Why do these things happen? Rebellion ! God says that rebellion is the same as witchcraft. One seeking his own way. The reason Satan was kicked out of heaven from the beginning. He wanted his way. He became prideful. Wanting to set himself up higher than God.

In the realm of the occult there are two ways that power is obtained and invoked. We can see this in our world on a daily basis. Perverted sex and rituals of blood. Loss of life through violence all around the world. In lower levels of witchcraft its considered white magic. What seems so innocent and starts out...just so called fun and games is a trap set by the snares of the enemy, Satan and his demons.

I myself got caught up in this trap and I started out with a game called ESP. Then I got an Ouija board. From there I started holding seances. One thing lead to another.I can't go into full detail of all that happened, to much to mention and some just can't be shared. None of it any good. I was headed straight down a path to hell. I was one that was ignorant of Satan's devices. I didn't know that these things were forbidden by God. The purpose that is set before us by the enemy to cause us to seek knowledge over and above that which is allowed by God.I became really depressed and it's very hard to really describe the feeling.( I am not saying everyone that is depressed has a demon) I started to a church that taught the Good News, salvation, baptism, the love of Jesus. They also taught that the devil wasn't running around in a red suit with a pitch fork and had a long tail.
God's word says people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.(Hosea 4:6) I found out that witchcraft is in rebellion to everything that God teaches.

There are many people including some Christians that do not understand the dangers of witchcraft. It could be reading of tarot cards. Consulting mediums, sorcery. It all usually starts with curiosity, which in turn the devil himself draws people. The more I learned, the more I wanted out ! I repented, renounced the evil things I had been drawn into and sought the Lord for deliverance.(I actually burned my Ouija board.) The only blood we should be thinking about is the blood that Jesus shed for us to save us. True redemption is ours for the asking and receiving.

Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy spirit which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? For you are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods'(1Corinthains 6:19-20).

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord. (Deuteronomy 18:10-11)
God is a jealous God and Him only should we serve. (Deut. 4:24)

Once these things are brought out into the light (open) and someone is told the truth and they know its wrong and yet continues doing these things or if they start doing any of these things after they have been told, its a sin.

For you were once in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light ( for the fruit of {light} is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the fruitless works of darkness, bit rather expose them.

To be free from these things one must recognize they are doing wrong. Repent, turn from it, renounce it, and seek God's forgiveness. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and seek the right things of Him and He will guide (direct) your path. Once you are set free from these things it is very important that a person fill themselves up with the things of the Lord. Read the Bible. Pray, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you and show you the things you need to get rid of. Do not go back to these things because the Word of God says :
Matthew 12:43-45 Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places, seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, I will return to my house(heart) from which I came, and finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself and they go in and live there; and the last state of the man becomes worse than the fisrt. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.
You want to make sure that you sincerly and honestly with all your heart want deliverance and want to live your life for the Lord. Once you receive the Lord as your Savior ask God to put someone in your path if you don't already have someone that you can share with and that can help to guide you as you grow in the Lord.
GREATER IS HE (THE LORD JESUS) THAT IS IN YOU THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD (SATAN)
