Extra Virgin Olive oil is always been my favorite ingredient whenever I make my salad, but other than an ingredient in salad dressing, I discovered that extra virgin olive oil is very good in soothing skin irritation and inflammation, and it can even stop a new pimple from developing.

As for skin irritation one time my legs is so itchy and since I can't find any ointment on my drawer I tried using extra virgin olive oil, and in a minute the itchiness is gone, I didn't even wash the affected area before I apply the extra virgin olive oil, but It works wonder.

Another instance is I felt a pimple will going to develop on my face, since there is the usual pain in one are, so after I wash my face I dab a little olive oil and the next day I just felt a little pain so I keep on putting olive oil and the following day the pain was gone and the pimple never develop anymore.

you know I had a bout of celulitis on my right leg. It swelled and the skin was about to burst. I got some Oregano oil (100 0/0 organic) and with one teaspoon of the oil you mix 2 teasp. of virgin olive oil..I rubbed it on my leg and it was 2 days and it was healing. The people in the hospital were so surprised and only one nurse agreed with me. Natural things can heal well..The Lord put them here for a good reason..These chemicals are so bad for our bodies..but they do have their place. G-Ma :o)

Does putting oil on the skin make me fat? I rub in olive oil all over my body everyday morning half hour before my yoga session. After my yoga session the oil is gone (only a small trace is left), even if I don’t do any exercise the oil is gone after some time, what happened to the oil over my skin? Does it got absorbed into my body? If so does it contribute to my body fat?
