Any family time with the kids is good but time spent with this them on vacation is special. Maybe its because we don't have anything to do but have fun together. Each and every vacation with the kids has made a lasting impression. I usually can't recall what I ate last night but ask me about a certain vacation with the family and I won't have any hesitation recalling the events.

My suggestion to new families or even older ones is to always try and do things with the whole family. In other words if you're going to the the amusement park, find rides you can do together. If the kids are outside playing ball, go and join them. Our kids love to team up against Mom and Dad. It may not be possible to do everything together but try and do as much as you can together.

Disney and amusement parks are alot of fun but vacation spent in the mountains or on a lake can be just as fun if not more. Whatever you do, do it together and just have fun! Not only are you creating great memories for yourself but the kids will remember them forever as well. Sometime in the future your kids will hopefully be creating their own memories with their kids.
