This poem is written for a truly special woman

One who deserves the highest recognition

To an individual that exudes goodness from every pore

I can honestly say that I have never seen a soul as pure as yours

I have seen the purity in your heart

And felt the warmth of your words within my soul

A feeling and friendship I will cherish forever

And hope we never grow apart

You've been a true friend A bond I trust will always stay

For my world would be forever empty If you ever went away

I believe that God took his time to make you precious

With a beautiful smile and incredible heart

With courage, wisdom and a caressing hand

And the knowledge to know that it's only the simple things

That makes life truly grand

So today I say thank you Esther for always being here for me

For without your guidance and love I would be lost

I take the time today to thank God for making you

Because of his gift, I feel truly free
