Noah

Genesis;7;4For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

12And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

Some say that it took three weeks and some said 150 days for the land to dry up

And it rain upon the earth for forty days everything that was left on dry land had been destroyed and all who had lived on the land thought noah was crazy when he told them it was going to rain from the sky because they had never seen it rain from above it came up from the ground as mist so no matter how crazy you might think it sound or think it could never happen if God tells you to do you better do it

Then God made a covenant with Noah and I think it is the rainbow we see today in the sky after it rain s

Genesis 9;11-17

11And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

13I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

14And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

15And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

17And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Moses and Ten Commandments.

Moses

Later, Moses twice spent forty days and forty nights in the presence of God on Mount Sinai, receiving the divinely-inscribed tablets, with the Ten Commandments and all the laws of God.

When Moses came down from the mountain he heard singing and feasting dancing before a idol a golden calf they had gotten tired waiting on Moses And the people cried to Aaron to make them an image such as those worshiped by people who did not know the Lord

And the first of the Ten Commandments not to make and worship images. So soon they disobeyed and brought to Aaron golden ornaments, and he made this idol. They could not have the tablets of stone which the Lord had given if they were so quick to disobey. Moses cast them out of his hands and broke them beneath the mount.

Then Moses cut out two more slab of stone and took them up the mountain and the Lord wrote the

same words that were on the first Ten Commandments.

Deuternomy9-17-19

17And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes.

18And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

19For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.
