Recently my sister and I have been asked to post coloring pages using Bible and religious themes. We are working on these as we have time away from our school work. We enjoy making free coloring pages for other kids, students and young children to save to their own computer, print and color; all for free. Doing this is utilization of our FREE DOWNLOAD facility that we have worked hard to provide to our visitors, 100% for free. We are teens now but we still enjoy coloring pages, especially if we can teach our younger relatives the joy of coloring. Now our cousins, who live outside the USA, are asking for coloring pages from the Bible. So these are coloring pages from the first book of the Bible, Genesis. We will make others that have different type of Bible characters for the subject. Our downloads are so easy to do that even parents and Sunday school volunteers can do them easily.

Bible not a science book Matt Converse Faith columnist I have always enjoyed reading. There are times when I will get so caught up in a story that I lose all sense of time and end up heading to bed in the wee hours of the morning. The best stories are the ones that are able to transport us into a different world, almost allowing us to escape reality even if only for a chapter or two, while at ...

  • Genesis, the first science text bookKnoxville News Sentinel5 days ago

Science and the Bible are perfectly consistent. Science works by offering hypotheses about nature. These hypotheses are then tested, accepted or discarded. Most are eventually discarded when more is known. The really good ones are those which survive for a long time. In the latter part of the 17th century, Newton hypothesized the laws of motion. They lasted until the first part of the 20th ...

I am writing this column in Israel while on an Ag Trade Mission to visit greenhouse and vegetable production operations and to learn more about their crop production in the desert with limited water resources. A mammoth as restored in Gosse's Omphalos . In Gosse's view of history, however, such a scene never actually existed. The bones of the mammoth existed in the earth from the time of Creation and had never given form to a living animal. Without a doubt, Philip Henry Gosse's Omphalos is one of the strangest books I have ever read. Published in 1857, two years before Charles Darwin's On the Origin ...
