Face care is something that everyone needs to do, but very few of us ever do right. Most people think that proper face skin care takes a long time to perform so they usually skip it. They realize they need to do it, but they just simply so not do it.

Big Mistake!!

The proper face care regimen should be followed religiously every day. But it does not have to take a large amount of time out of your day to complete. In fact, the proper facial skin care routine can take less than 10 minutes from start to finish.

A good regimen will promote cleansing of the skin to reduce the dead skin cells, makeup, debris and dirt to unclog the pores. This type of skin cleansing ritual can keep wrinkles from forming at an increasingly earlier age. To get the best looking facial skin you can get, you should follow the following program.

Use A Face Wash To Cleanse Your Face

When choosing a face wash you should select a face cleanser that will clean out the pores without drying out the skin or leaving a small amount of the product on the skin that will feel “filmy”. You should avoid harsh ingredients and fragrances that can possibly irritate the skin. After all, the goal is a fresh face and not a red one!

Warm water should be used to wet the face. Then the face wash should be used by rubbing it in circles into the skin. A quick rinse of warm water should be enough to remove any facial cleansers on the skin.

Exfoliate Your Face

You should use an exfoliant to remove the dead skin, dirt and debris off of your face. When the dead skin cells are removed, they expose the more vibrant, smooth and supple skin cells below. Be careful not to over do this procedure. Exfoliating your face should be used once or twice a week at the maximum.

To exfoliate your face, use a gentle exfoliating scrub. Like the face wash, they should be used by applying them to damp skin and then rubbing them into the skin in circles. Microdermabrasion scrubs are excellent exfoliants for your face care regimen.

After exfoliating, you can use a skin toner if you’d like.

Moisturize Your Face With Face Creams

You need to hydrate your face with good face creams. By keeping the skin moisturized, you can eliminate the presence of lines and wrinkles and keep your skin looking youthful.

The best facial cream that will moisturize your skin will be free of chemicals and be all natural. Ingredients such as Vitamin E, Aloe and Jojoba Oil are natural and are excellent sources of skin hydration.

The moisturizer should be applied once the exfoliating and toning is completed. Simply rub the face cream on your face and voila it is hydrated.

An even more specialized facial cream is the eye cream. Eye cream is meant to be used on the most tender of facial skin (under and around the eye).

All in all, this routine should take less than 10 minutes to complete. And remember, the best face skin care products should be all natural and contain little to no harmful chemicals.

Very clear and thorough descriptions of what to do and why. I'm rather glad your hub doesn't have the preachy and know-it-all tone, which others have. I like clarity in writing. Good hub. I'm into skin care myself, which is why I found your hub.
