Facebook / Zynga Poker - The Fun Is A Lot Costly
76Facebook / Zynga Poker - The Costly Affair
Facts and Figures about Facebook / Zynga Poker
- Zynga Poker is one of the most popular games designed by Zynga and is run on social networks like Facebook, Bebo, Hi5, Tagged, Yahoo, MySpace. Hopefully many more to add in coming days. Texas Holdem Poker is being played by more than 300K ppl at the same time during peak hours.
- The best part of the game is you can loose your chips daily and again the next day you get some chips to get started all over again. These chips for poker are absolutely free.
If you want to jump to high stakes table then either you win the chips then climb the ladder or you have to buy from Zynga. Zynga is the only place from where you can buy chips and your account will not get banned. There are 2 major problems with Zynga. Firstly they have a daily cap of $200 buying in chips. Means with Zynga you can buy only a maximum of 6M chips. Well $150 for first 5M and then $50 for the next 1M. You have seen the second problem, they sell these chips for a price you spend on gas for your car. In return to this investment you get fun for about 1 or 2 hours and for some it ends in next 5 minutes.
- If Zynga does not ban your account then there are hackers who can steal all your chips. At the time of writing there is one domain extension .tk guys they do all the hacking. How they manage to get you to their websites is a fine marketing strategy which works if you are careless enough and do not keep your eyes open while clicking links and putting your actual login details in wrong places [urls]. Try to stay away from these corrupts.
- Facebook has taken a challenge to throw out all chip vendors out of the first page of google along with Zynga. I am sure they will be successful one day as they have money to invest in buying back links for their stupid one page websites they are working on. Not only that Facebook also runs an ad on google adwords saying all chip vendors are scams. Makes me feel that the think tank of Facebook not educated enough as they do not even know the meaning of "SCAM". If a chip vendor gives you chips for your order, can he be a scam. You are a better judge...
- What are all chip vendors trying to do? They are working hard to provide you with cheap poker chips that you can use for your entertainment on these social networks. They buy chips from top rated players on the game and give them to you.
- Risk Part - Your account can get banned if you buy chips from any chip vendor in the world except for Facebook or Zynga. There are work arounds if you are really serious about your account. Keep a healthy balance of atleast 10/20% chips you are planning to buy. Like if you want to buy 20M chips from any chips vendor then having 2M chips in your account will save you 95% of times as against keeping like 10K or 100K chips.
- Buying chips from Zynga or Facebook in the game. You guys are educated enough and know it that Zynga has put a lot of servers to run this game and put many many people to manage it. It is advised that you should of course pay them back by buying chips from Zynga every once in a while, so that they are also able to run the company and make profits. So NOT buying from Zynga is not the purpose of this hub. You should support them. I support Zynga along with my customers, all of them buy from Zynga at least one time if they buy from me 5 times.
I would love to see some comments from facebook or zynga guys on this hub so I will leave the comments section on forever.
Everyone is invited to put his comment and add to these facts. Any back links to your website will result in deletion of the comment.
If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to buy chips apart from Zynga/Facebook try
Buy Facebook Poker Chips
Happy gaming and thanks to Facebook and Zynga to put this poker game for our entertainment !!!

I was hoping that Zynga poker was going to put something together worthwhile for their little "skill meter" but I've been disappointed with the results. When the skill meter was coming soon, I thought to myself "awesome, a way to actually keep track of who knows how to play." Alas, it just keeps track of how many hands a person plays or folds, not how well they actually play the hand.
Personally, I think Zynga is a good place for people to pick up some skills and learn a few tricks of poker as opposed to spending their hard earned money on chips that aren't worth anything. Play for free, win some free chips, then, if you want to buy chips go play at a real poker site. No need to be spending cash on chips that aren't worth anything.
Hi, I ran into this while Google searching about Zynga. This morning I got notified by Paypal that I purhased 5M chips from Zynga for $150. I do not play poker but I do have a Facebook account. Just wonder if anyone can actually follow my facebook logon to hack into my computer for this?
EN, looks like your paypal account has been hacked. Login to your paypal, go to the details of the transaction that was sent to Zynga for $150. Start a dispute and escalate the matter to paypal. This is the best way you can get your money back.
I don't have a facebook or zynga account but someone hacked my PayPal account and within a short period made 10 transactions for zynga poker chips for a grand total $1500 in real money. What's real secret is they tried to make more transactions but PayPal locked my account.
I just got hit for $150 too! I don't have any of their games. They only thing I've used my paypal account for is etsy and ebay... not sure how they managed to get it!
What I think is your paypal account is compromised and someone used it to buy chips from Zynga. I will recommend that you change your paypal password immediately and if possible change the email on paypal account. Zynga will not do such a cheap thing to take your money if you never purchased from them. More of an hackers activity is sensed here.
Interesting stuff. I love to play online and need to keep informed. Thanks! I would love some feedback from you on my article on picking off bluffs. Please check it out.
