what shows the differences

Those true friends and the ones of convieniance aren't always easy to tell apart. If you have a pretty uncomplicated life you will see both of these kinds of friends as equals. They will come to your parties, show up at your wedding, join you when you have tickets to an event and sometimes still help you out when needed but there are a few clues that set them apart.

  1. Small Favors- You have that football party but you need everyone to chip in for the beer, snack, food. There is the one person that always seems to be out of money and says they will pay you back and never does. Another example is that you have to move some items and to get them to help you out you have to sit there for a while asking for it. Not to mention the same guy has volunteered you to help them numerous times out of guilt.
  2. Big Help- You are stranded in the middle of the night after your can has been towed and the person you call doesn't seem to care. Worst cases are that you are in jail because of something they did and they don't even try to find you bail money.
  3. Destruction- Your friend has destroyed your car, house or property and either offers to pay you back but you are still sitting with the bill over a month later or says it there with the ";It wasn't my fault"; game.
  4. Life- If they help you make many bad decisions that get you in jail, cause you to loose something valuable or cause your own self destruction but don't come around to support the uphill battle or stop caring about you.

These are characteristics of those farewhether friends that can move ain and out of your life in an instance. Those true friends will always fight for you, fight with you, try to give those real opinions and will stick to you like super glue. In this world you may have many friends but true friends are sometimes far and in between.
