Strength dwells in Adversity

Oh! Genie
Tell me a fairy tale
For I know
It instructs me with the simplest words.
For I know
Great truths lie hidden behind tiny events.
Suffering, come to me
you make me wise.
Trouble, be my friend
teach me one more lesson,
teach me to think
And when I think
you give me the secret to success.
Darkness, shadow me with your cloud
It is from you, I long for brightness.
Defeat, sting me hard
For you keep me away from frivolity
and steer me towards victory.

I've certainly had these musings about what the good is in sorrow or troubles and you've captured that consideration very nicely. Lovely hub.
