Faith of Christ

Many Christians come to receiving the blessing of God through following the steps to salvation, and once they get to the point of "FAITH" they slack off . The reason is because of unbelief.

UNBELIEF is the major reason Christians have " little" faith....

M't:6:30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Unbelief is something only a christian can experience. Unbelief is believing the wrong thing...usually a mis-understanding of the word of God....Today it is even worse because of the many different bible translations. The old trick from the Devil is to play on words, just like he pulled on Eve in the Garden.

Now its proven in the Bible and in Human Science that the mind is designed to understand words, and words are what make up human understanding, if we didn't have words to describe things we would make grunts and noises with tones to describe things, God designed it this way. Just like a baby googles and gaggles before it speaks, it is talking.

The importance of hearing the truth is played out in many scriptures like.....

Psalms:119:130: The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

M'r:4:24: And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear:

Lu:8:18: Take heed therefore how ye hear:

M't:13:18: Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

Therefore unbelief has caused a christian to have confusion in his mind and has a problem believing the right thing.

Here is an example, but note the difference....

KJV....Ga:2:16: Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

NASB....Galatians 2:16: nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

Here we can see two thought schools developing...one that will cause you TO HAVE a noisy mind and walk in unbelief and the other confidence in God.which is true Faith.

KJV teaches that Jesus Christs faith saved us, justified us and made us righteous.

and the

NASB falsely teaches us that our faith in Jesus Christ justifies us...

So if we keep reading these sort of scriptures that contradict the purpose of Jesus we will be walking in confusion, because while the Holy Spirit is speaking to the believer, the scriptures will be saying different so there are the grounds for doubt and cause "little faith".

This was a problem identified in the early church, and yet still takes place.

Ga:1:6: I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Ga:1:7: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Ga:1:8: But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Revelations covers this also and describes the church how it was lured away thinking it was doing God a favour.

Re:2:2: I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
Re:2:3: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
Re:2:4: Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Re:2:5: Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

The first works was spreading the good news "euanggelion".......

Its completely understandable, why believers have a didvided mind and Paul highlighted this in Romans

Ro:7:23: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Ro:7:25: I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Ro:8:2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

So many Christians think they are "accountable" for their mistakes and try and stick it to other believers, and this unscriptural mind set sets in motion, "self righteousness" causing a religion and cult mind set, and following, even though they have been set free they deny it, at the same time, and submit to the Law of sin in their members without realising it.So when a believer comes in contact with true scriptures they quickly identify their own fault by comparing the real truth against what they believe , and try and show up the other whats wrong with their truth.

Heb:10:23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Jas:1:6: But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

wavering...diakrino ( Grk) ...doubt,stagger,be partial.

The key to walking without a wavering mind is to analyze what you hear and does it align with Lifting Jesus up or does it align with laying a responsibility on your own shoulder.

Either Christ has done it or I am doing it, and if I am doing it I am in error, and the error comes from what you heard and interpreted it incorrectly.....

Through the thousands of years the Devil has tried to discredit the truth by causing new bibles to be written, with missing scriptures and change of context. The TRUTH has been judged as being "DISCRIMINATORY" and thus new bibles. The KJV is the only bible that has the true context in place , others have removed and changed things that would " Glorify Jesus" to make Jesus Christ less than God and just a mere man, and not God. The fact that Jesus Christ is God is the Power of the scriptures, and the WORD of GOD. So not all bibles are the word of God.

This is true when Jesus was teaching and pointed straight at this fact, for lack of knowledge about the scriptures.

M't:22:29: Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

What is Faith????

Faith is being totally convinced in your mind that, that which God had promised God has fulfilled.

Note: Its not what God is going to do it is what God has already done....

For this reason God educates us to be convinced in our minds he has been caring for us before we even knew him. He cares for us all the time

M't:6:8: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Lu:12:7: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

There is a thin line between what we believe in and what we don't have to believe in.

Usually it can be measured and the KEY is to compare it with the completed works of Christ, and how does that make me complete.

Col:2:8: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Col:2:9: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Col:2:10: And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

There is nothing more for us to do all accountability is hid in Christ.

God Bless

note: Some more scriptures that cause argument and confusion, leads to lack of knowledge.

KJV

M'r:16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Baptized= Grk...Baptizo ...to wash

NASB

Mark 16:16:He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

The play with words and context produces confused Christians....

The "is" in the KJV indicates someone who believes and chooses to be "baptized" ..."to wash"...in Greek so Baptism does save, the word wash is synoymous with baptized to be washed in water the blood of Christ saves and cleanses with blood " Robes washed white yet red as blood". Salvation is instantaneous on coming out the water

The NASB indicates that there will be a salvation still to come.

I love the Spirit of your message but to say newer translations are the Devil's work might be too strident.  I have lots of Bibles.  The KJV expresses itself in beautiful language to be sure (after all, it is written in Shakespeares language—Elizabethan English).  But—one of the best Bibles I ever read was "Dake's Annotated Bible" and every morning now I read the "Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible."  The "NIV" is not bad and "Maxwell's Leadership Bible" is solid, too.

Yes I know what you mean, I have piles of bibles and most bibles are translated from the KJV, but then its second hand and altered . I gave an example in the hub, and here is another. I clipped from another hub, with regards to Superior KJV and compared to a NASB and the word grievous

KJV....grievous.....(GK)..barus (.heavy)...okneros (slothful)....dusbastaktos (to carry grief).....poneros (wicked,bad,evil).....lupe( to cause grief,to make sorry) ..........10x in the NT scriptures 5 different ways and 34x in OT scriptures.

NASB...burdensome.....4x in whole NASB bible same meaning...

The depth of the KJV (not NKJV) far exceeds any other bible by far. I use a complete Greek and Hebrew KJV dictionary.

So reading the lazy man bibles doesn't give a believer the equipment he needs to have in order to have a sharp sword.

I appreciate your views

The fact that the KJV is not what King James Authorized but revisions is a good thing.  So much has been done to preserve and protect the original in the KJV.  The essence of the gospel can be found in almost all Scriptures.  You probably won't believe this but I led my sister to the Lord using the New World translation of the Jehovah's Witnesses (and what a perversion of Scripture that is!)  I know that KJV is the most accurate, in my opinion, but the Holy Spirit can use almost any of them if the basic idea is still intact.  I wouldn't use it for any other purpose though, except to show variations from how the Word should read.

Its true what you are saying, I have a KJV my dad used while he was in the JWs , but like I mentioned the KJV is from original Hebrew and Greek, and not translated from another bible. I have witnessed to JWs using their own bible, because I know what scriptures have been changed and missing.

In bible study it is amazing how the KJV is even mathematically accurate especially the words of Jesus in red, and this is the good thing about the KJV you know who is speaking  I only use the KJV for accuracy

Hi again....

Gospel is the good news about Jesus, and Gospill is like a pill some call it a tablet, Gospill is using Gods words to overcome your problems, like a pill for a head ache.

Is that ok

HOOWANTSTONO,

This is thought provoking!

The "GOSPEL" is "GOOD NEWS! God's plan of Salvation is so Wonderful! Once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior! His Holy Spirit takes up residence within you. Your body becomes a temple. His WORD says "He will write His Laws in you Heart!" His inner Teacher and Guide will not lead you to do anything that goes against God's written Word! It will "lead you to ALL TRUTH."

I have many versions of the Bible including the Greek text. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to open ones understanding. The Pharisees knew the Word yet they still were spiritually blind. They could not recognize or discern who Jesus Christ was....They wanted to prove Him wrong rather than see He was TRUTH and came to point them to TRUTH!

One must commit to a growing ongoing relationship in order to become discerning. (To know when somthing is not of God!) God knows where each individual is or is not. He holds us accountable as indviduals. We in our selves have no righteouness. Jesus Christ has imputed His Righeousness to us. We are saved by Grace not merit. "The TRUTH sets you Free!"

As we grow in the knowledge and understanding of HIS Word; is also how your TRUE FAITH and TRUST are developed! Thank You for sharing!

Peace & Blessings!

Yes it is the Holy Spirit that does the work in us. My main message was the conflict between mans thoughts and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I do appreciate comment, and agree 100%.

God speed to you
