Fallout: A game turned prophecy?

Many people do not know about this, but in 1997 a video game by interplay that changed the way we looked at RPGs. It was a video game based in a future world 200 years after a nuclear armageddon reduced the world to nothing more than ashes and fire. It speaks of how the human race was preserved in secret underground "Vaults" or fortresses that were designed to last long periods of time through radiation and help people start new lives in the vaults. As the story begins, you are told that you must venture out into the nuclear wasteland to find a replacement for the water purification system in your vault.

Well taking a look at this game one might say that it doesn't seem too bad, some fun action, some Witty commentaries with NPCs (non playable characters) and an interesting story line/plot. But what many people may not see is the parallel that the back story has with the current wars and conflicts going on in the world today. You see, the events that led up to the nuclear armageddon were wars, famines and plagues. the events going on in the world are Famine, flooding, poverty, WAR, and death worldwide. America has become a bully to countries they seem as part of a made up "axis of evil" and we see ourselves as heroes against the "evil doers".

In the game, all of the countries that possessed nuclear weaponry fired the weapons at each other, continents were burned up, islands sunk into the ocean, and innocent people were killed. How much longer do we have until this game becomes the reality of the world, how long before we look back on our past and say, we should have heeded the warning signs of this happening. The planet cannot take much more abuse and it will take a miracle to reverse any of the damage that we as humans have done to it.

Fallout may just be a game, but the prophetic message remains the same we must NOT let the world become a nuclear wasteland, world leaders must disarm ALL nuclear weapons, and restrict access to any nuclear chemicals which can produce such weapons. Only then can we stop an approaching nuclear war!

War, War never changes.
War, War never changes.
Will the rest of the world be a mirror image of the american attack on hiroshima?
