Iiguazu Falls, Iguassu Falls, or Iguaçu Falls

What is really amazing about these falls is that there are so many of them, that the river use to run backwards, that this was in the center of the giant super continent at one time.

Definitely stay in a hotel on the Argentina side, because the food is so good and cheap. All you need to know is LOMO which means like lean or lean beef or steak or something, there is one amazing restaurant in the Puerto Iguazu and that is the only one worth eating in! It is right on the corner a block from the bus station.

Iiguazu Falls, Iguassu Falls, or Iguaçu Falls (Portuguese: Cataratas do Iguaçu, pronounced; Spanish: Cataratas del Iguazú, are waterfalls of the Iguazu River located on the border of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentine province of Misiones. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu.

The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometres (1.67 miles) of the Iguazu River. Two thirds of the falls are within Argentine territory. [edit] Access Walkways allows close view of the falls

The falls are shared by the Iguazú National Park (Argentina) and Iguaçu National Park (Brazil). The "Paseo Garganta del Diablo" is a one kilometer long way to bring the visitor directly over the falls of the "Garganta del Diablo". The fall area provides opportunities for water sports and rock climbing. Comparisons to other famous falls

Vastly larger than North America's Niagara Falls, Iguaçu is rivalled only by Southern Africa's Victoria Falls which separates Zambia and Zimbabwe (this is excluding extremely large rapid-like falls such as the Boyoma Falls). Niagara's annual peak flow is about 2 800 m³/s, although an all-time peak of 6 800 has been recorded. Iguazu and Victoria fluctuate more greatly in their flow rate. Likewise, because Iguazu is split into many relatively small falls, one can view these a portion at a time.
