One interesting thing about Australia is the weather. When it is winter in the US, it is summertime in Australia. So, if you hate snow and the cold weather, you can definitely choose to spend your winter holidays in Australia with your family members. What is good in summer? The beaches! Frolicking on the beaches of Australia would really be an eye opening experience for the entire family. The people of Australia are friendly too. So, if you want to plan a family holiday in Australia, make it a long and a worthwhile one.
The Australian culture is definitely something that you should see. I would personally describe the Australian cultural experience this way: it is similar to the US culture in many ways but different enough to make it a fantastic experience for a family holiday. There are so many things for you to see and if you are in Australia at the right time, you might also be able to participate in some of their celebration and festivities.
The only thing that I dislike about traveling to Australia is the flight. It takes about 30 hours to fly from the United States to Australia. When you land there, you wil definitely feel really tired but for the best family holiday experience ever, the jet lag and the long journey are definitely worth it.
