Jaci's Safari and Tree Lodges - Madikwe Game Reserve - North West

They are quite expensive but definitely worth a visit. Children of all ages are very welcome at Jaci's. If your children are aged 10 and younger and share with their parents they qualify for a special Kiddies rate, which includes child minders and the jungle drive. Children aged 8 and older are allowed on the adults drive and given dinner in the dining room on their return from the evening drive. The little ones aged 1 - 7 is taken on a separate jungle drive during the day.

The offer game drives in open Land Rovers with highly trained rangers that will bring you close to the black and white rhino, elephant, lion, giraffe, hippo, cheetah and more than 18 antelope species.

The Cheetah Park has become a main attraction at the Spier Estate. Here you can have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures and even enter the enclosure. The education programme began with two cheetahs Inca (6-year old male) whose role was to greet visitors at Spier and Shadow (1-year old male) who travelled to community events.

Eagle Encounters at Spier Village

This is a bird of prey rehabilitation, education and conservation centre. Personal encounters with birds of prey can be experienced at Spier. Eagles, hawks, owls, kites, buzzards and falcons can be observed in flight demonstrations.

Winchester Mansions - Cape Town

Winchester Mansions are a bestseller not because of the children's facilities but because the owner has manager to encourage its staff to make families feel welcome. Children receive a gift on arrival to make them feel welcome and children under the age of six stay for free.
