ALFREDO V. LAGMAY
Dr. Alfredo Lagmay was born on August 14, 1919. He pursued a lot of studies relating to experimental analysis of behavior modification, relaxation and related states, and Hypnosis. Awards:· He was greatly recognized for his works; the University of the Philippines awarded him a Professional Chair in Psychology (1973-75), American Psychological Association and the International Council of Psychologists, American Psychological Association of Applied Psychology. · In 1984, he received the Distinguished Service award for significant contributions to psychology and the social sciences by the Association for Anthropological Diplomacy, Politics and Society and in cooperation with the Association of Third World Anthropologists.
RUDY LANTANO SR.
Rudy Lantano Sr., a scientist from the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST), won the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) gold medal for developing Super Bunker Formula-L, a revolutionary fuel half-composed of water, In 1996. The mix burns faster and emits pollutants 95 percent less than those released to the air by traditional fuel products. The inventor said his invention is a result of blending new ingredients and additives with ordinary oil products through agitation and mixing, which is a very safe process. The initial plan was to commercially produce two million liters of Alco-Diesel, two million liters of Lan-Gas and an unlimited quantity of Super Bunker Formula-L each day for customers in Luzon.
HILARIO LARA
Doctor Hilario Lara is a medical researcher and public health specialist who has had studied the spread of cholera, typhoid fever, dysentery, measles and diphtheria resulting in the prevention of those diseases in the Philippines. He devoted half his life to the prevention of diseases in the country. He established the Institute of Public Health at the University of the Philippines, and also helped organized the National Research Council of the Philippines.

ANGEL L. LAZARO III
Dr. Angel L. Lazaro III was born on August 23, 1943. He is a registered Civil Engineer and Environmental Planner with more than 35 years experience in various civil engineering projects including buildings, highways, bridges, water systems, port works and industrial estates.
Awards and Recognition:·
- He is the recipient of Certificates of Recognition as Structural Engineer and Civil Engineering Educator from the Board of Civil Engineering. ·
- He received the Most Outstanding Civil Engineer Award from the Professional Regulation Commission in 1994, and the Professional Award in Engineering from the UP Alumni Engineering Association in 1989.·
- Dr. Lazaro is currently the Managing Partner of Angel Lazaro and Associates, Consulting Architects and Engineers. ·
- He is also the incumbent Chairman of the Board of Civil Engineering, Professional Regulatory Commission. ·
- Dr. Lazaro was formerly Administrator and member of the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), member of the Board of the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), Member of the Technical Panel for Engineering, Technology and Architecture, Full Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering of De La Salle University and Associate Professor of Civil Engineering, University of the Philippines.·
- Dr. Lazaro is past National President and Fellow of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE). ·
- He is also Past President of the Confederation of Filipino Consulting Organizations (COFILCO), Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA), Philippine Association for Technological Education (PATE) , Road Engineering Association of the Philippines (REAP), National Society for Seismology and Earthquake Engineering of the Philippines (NSSEEP), Council of Filipino Consultants (COFIC) and American Concrete Institute, Philippine Chapter (ACI-RP). ·
- In addition, he is Director or member of numerous other professional, academic, civil, and social organizations.
Education:
- Dr. Lazaro has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- He has two Masters Degrees from Princeton University, New Jersey, USA, where he conducted research on structural concrete.
- Dr. Lazaro has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines
VIRGILIO MALANG
Dr. Virgilio Malang won a gold medal for his invention "Psidium Guajava Effervescing Gynecological Insert", a silver medal for his "Patient Side-Turning Hospital Bed", and three bonze medals for his inventions "external vaginal cleanser", "light refracting ear pick", and "broom's way of hanging" at the Seoul International Fair in held South Korea in December 2002. There were 385 inventions from 30 countries that joined the competitions.
FELIX MARAMBA
Felix Maramba built a coconut oil-fueled power generator. He also is the developer of one of the world's most profitable biogas systems.

ERIC NGO
Eric Ngo is a Filipino inventor has developed a technology, which could revive a busted lamp (pundido) and give it more years of functional life than those of new ones. Acclaimed by the Filipino Inventors Society as timely and revolutionary, the Nutec system can prolong the life of fluorescent lamps up to seven years. Nutec was developed by New World Technology, headed by President Eric Ngo and chosen as the "Product of the Year" at the Worldbex 2000 Building and Construction Exposition held at the Manila Hotel. Engineer Benjamin S. Santos, national president of the Inventors Society, called Nutec a timely invention.
PERLA D. SANTOS-OCAMPO
Perla Santos Ocampo was born on July 25, 1931. She is greatly recognized for her outstanding works and accomplishments in the twin scourges of diarrhea diseases and malnutrition. Her work in diarrhea diseases contributed in the elucidation of etiologic factors and planning of control measures that reinforced international recommendations in oral re-hydration and nutritional management.
WILLIAM PADOLINA
William Padolina has served as the Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology for the Philippines where he directed researchers and the private sector and enabled the growth of the Internet and e-commerce in the Philippines. William Padolina has also served as the Deputy Director General of the Philippines-based International Rice Research Institute.

EDUARDO QUISUMBING
Eduardo Quisumbing is a Filipino Botanist. He was noted expert in the medicinal plants of the Philippines. He was author of more than 129 scientific articles. many on orchids. Eduardo Quisumbing served as the Director of the National Museum of the Philippines, where he rebuilt the Herbarium. The plant "saccolabium quisumbingii" is named in honor of Eduardo Quisumbing.

FRANCISCO QUISUMBING
Francisco Quisumbing is a Filipino chemist who has invented Quink pen ink which he sold to Parker for international consumption. The ink cleans the pen as it writes, dries quickly on paper, and remains liquid inside the tube.
JOSE N. RODRIGUEZ
Jose Rodriguez is a noted Filipino scientist and researcher who has had invented methods of controlling Hansen’s Disease commonly known as leprosy. He aimed to control leprosy in the Philippines. Dr. Rodriguez dedicated 53 years of his life to the control and prevention of leprosy in the country. In his bid to stop leprosy, he proposed a control program that was used here and in other Asian countries, as well. His leprosy control program was instituted in the Philippines and other Asian countries. Jose Rodriguez's medical papers on leprosy research are often referenced and have been published around the world.
Jose Rodriguez was honored with the 1974 Damien Dutton Award.
The Tala Leprosarium is one of eight institutes in the Philippines that once served patients with Hansen’s Disease or leprosy. Tala Leprosarium was renamed the Jose Rodriguez Memorial Medical Hospital and Sanitarium in 1970 and is no longer strictly a Leprosarium since only a few leper patients remain.

Its better that they copy yours rather than referred to as immitator if they applied first for patent ahead of you.
hi...ang father ko ay inventor rin katunayan sumali na sya nong 1978 sa edad na 20.kong hindi ako nagkakamali "multi purpose grain planting machine"ata ang pangalan ng projects nya,walang sapat na budgets kaya di narin nya ito napa patent,sa ngayon nasa 50's na ang father ko at may bago sya ngayong projects,actually tatlo itong projects ito..gusto ko sanang makahingi ng info paano ito mapa parent na safe po..salamat and more power.

Im proud to be Filipino...... to all our Filipino inventors salamat sa mga inventions na inyong naipamalas saludo kmi sa inyo..... wag kayong umasa sa gobyerno kc mapupulitica lng kau nyan.... all they want is money....pera... percentage....kupit.....etc! madaming mamamayan natin ang nangangailangan ng iyong invention.
