She was one of America's most beloved and widely recorded sopranos and leading interpreter of the lirico spinto and is regarded as one of the greatest sopranos in history.

Jimmy Durante also known as 'Schnozz' and 'Rag Time Jimmy' was born February 10, 1893 in New York City, US. He was an American singer, pianist, comedian and actor who dropped out of school to become a full-time ragtime pianist working the city circuit before joining the Original New Orleans Jazz Band, renamed the 'Jimmy Durante's Jazz Band'.
