Florence Griffith Joyner

Chris Evert Christine Marie Evert was born December 21, 1954 in Florida, USA. She is a former World Number 1 woman tennis player from the United States. During her career, she won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, including a record 7 at the French Open. She also won 3 Grand Slam doubles titles.Evert was named the third best female player of the 20th century, after Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova. Evert never lost in the first round of a Grand Slam singles tournament, her earliest exits being in the third round.Evert's romance with the top men's player Jimmy Connors captured the public's imagination in the 1970s, particularly after they both claimed the singles titles at Wimbledon in 1974. Evert and Connors also occasionally played mixed doubles together. In 1974, they were runner-up at the U.S. Open. They became engaged, but the romance did not last. Frank Vincent Zappa
was born on December 21, 1940 - December 4, 1993.Baltimore, Maryland. He was an American composer, musician, and film director... In a career spanning more than 30 years, Zappa established himself as a prolific and highly distinctive composer, electric guitar player and band leader. He worked in almost every musical genre Politically, Zappa was a self-proclaimed "practical conservative", an avowed supporter of capitalism and independent business. He was also a strident critic of mainstream education and organized religion. Zappa was a forthright and passionate advocate for freedom of speech and the abolition of censorship..Zappa's political work would come to a halt all too soon as In 1991, he was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer and died on December 4, 1993, age 52. He was interred in an unmarked grave at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Westwood, California.

He is an American media personality and writer, best known as the creator and star of The Phil Donahue Show, also known as Donahue, the first tabloid talk show. The show had a 26-year run on national (U.S.) His shows have generally focused on issues that often divide liberals and conservatives in the U.S., such as abortion, consumer protection, civil rights Donahue began his career in 1957 as a production assistant at KYW radio and television in Cleveland. Joseph Vincent Paterno
Joseph Paterno was born December 21, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York, nicknamed JoePa. He is the head coach of Pennsylvania State University's college football team and has won more football games against teams currently in NCAA Division I-FBS (formerly Division I-A) than any other coach in history. He also has more bowl game wins and more FBS undefeated seasons than any other coach in college football history. Paterno thought his stint as an assistant coach would be brief, before going to law school. He never went to law school and instead became one of the most famous and recognizable coaches of any sport in the United States....At the Penn State Creamery..... was born December 21, 1922 - June 24, 2005, in Pinkus Wilchinski. He was an American ventriloquist and voice actor from New York City whose career flourished in the 1950s and 1960s. Another great hub. I remember Paul Winchell calling into a radio station I was listening to, talking about his artificial heart invention of many years past.
Since Phil Donahue is still alive, I guess Marlow Thomas is not a widow. I thought he had died. Thanks for the info.
