She was an American film actress whose first film was in the 1937's "They Won't Forget" and later that year appeared in "A Star Is Born" to hit films such as "The Postman Always Rings Twice" and "The Bad and the Beautiful" and was well known for the glamour and beauty she brought to most of her roles. She died June 29, 1995 aged 74.
