Direct to Card Printer/Encoder
This printer is the most flexible of the Fargo card printers. From issuing standard photo id cards, the printer can also print a high volume of cards, such as customer loyalty cards. With an optional module, the printer can also encode and print on access cards.
Options available on on the DTC 550 are single sided printing or dual sided printing. An optional mag stripe encoder or eathernet can be added to use on a network as a network printer. The 550 is a direct to card printer and has the cappabilities of incorporating a lamination module for appling a secure overlaminate to finished cards. This feature will also allow for holographic security overlaminate to be incorporated on ID card sfor increased security against counterfiting and extended card life.
