Farrah Fawcett was born Ferrah Leni Fawcett on Febuary 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi ,Texas. She was an American Actress. She began life with a modest upbringing.It wasn't until she entered into The University Of Texas in Austin where she began to be noticed. She appeared in a photo of the "Ten Most Beautiful Coeds" for the university which ran in Cashbox Magazine. A hollywood publicist noticed her photo and encouraged her to move to hollywood. Entering into the Hollywood scene brought so many opportunities her way. She began appearing in commercials for Noxema, Ultra Brite, Wella Balsam, and Faberge. This led her to her first television series cameo. She appeared in I Dream Of Jeannie in 1968 -1969. This led her to more roles appearing in Owen Marshall: Counselor At Law, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Dating Game, , and Harry O. This led to a photo shoot that would make her famous. There were only six photos taken and only one truely thrusted her to instant fame. This poster sold over 12 million copies. This opened so many more opportunites. On March 21, 1976 she appeared as Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angel's. She was now a famous model and actress. She not only dominated the air waves, but she began to inspire and set trends for her generation. Her hairstyle set international trends. It was known as the " Farrah Do ". The show Charlie's Angel's would go on to become a signature of the 70's Decade and live in syndication spawning products and merchandise from dolls to puzzles. The 80's brought Fawcett success with many roles in film and television. She appeared as a rape victim Extremeties(a controversal play).She later appeared in Two Women, Nazi Hunter, and series of television mini series. The 90's saw more success with her playboy photo shoots in 1995 and 1997.She again broke records. Her 1995 Playboy Issue became the best selling issue in the 1990's. (over 4 million copies sold world wide). In 2000 she played alongside Richard Gere in Dr T And The Women. In 2003 thru 2004 she received roles in off broadway plays, and the televison series Spinn City. After fanominal success that spanned decades she still remains our inspiration and opidemizes what it means to be a beautiful ,fun loving , successful, bright, ambtious women and person who can achieve greats things in life.
