Being as interested in fashion as I am I love looking at whats gonna be a hit for the season, and restocking my wardrobe for the new trends before they hit the stores! My boyfriend is amazed at how many pairs of shoes I own, whenever I come home with a new pair he moans about the closet space they'll take up, but as I always try to explain to him; you can never have enough shoes! and if it comes to it, we'll just have to throw out some of his stuff to make room :)

Though as we all know money is tight for most of us at the moment, and those gorgeous shoes that fit so nicely just have to stay in the store, as our debit cards can't hack the daily assault that living costs these days. With prices going up and wages going down were all learning to buy cheaper items and recycle.

Iv put together a list of items that are making a hit this summer,...

The Gladiator

As you may have noticed Gladiators are becoming a huge hit this summer, ranging from platforms to flats these stylish shoes are becoming massive.

My personal favourite (pictured top right) are my bronze fake snake ones from newlook. When ever an outfit or occasion calls for heels these are my first choice at the moment! at they're surprisingly comfortable.

Newlook has many varieties of gladiators both heels and flats available online and in-store from £10 - £50.

For a cheaper alternative try Primark. Their flat gladiators available in white, black and brown are only £9.

And for a more expensive pair, try Topshop pacific gladiator sandal for £85.

Miss Selfridge have a fantastic selection ranging from £25-£40

Asda sell a few different pairs, with colours in white and chocolate, those pictured to the right cost £15 from Asda.com

Almost all stores are selling variations of these gorgeous shoes so I can't imagin it will be hard to find a pair you love.

Dressing Up

Lately everywhere I look I seem to find at least one if not many more floral print dresses. I have to say I do not own any dresses like this as it is not something I like but as it is most certainly on the up this season its only fair to mention them.
Pictured right is a Floral print dress from Topshop, £50.

Also a very common trend among dresses this season is the Peplum style dresses. This dress shown from newlook costs £30 and is available in 4 different colours; black, yellow, blue and orange!

Bright colours are a must for summer every year, but this year bright block colours are taking our shops by storm. A personal favourite of mine is the one pictured opposite from Miss selfridge, £40.

Bandeau and One shoulder dresses are also making a comeback this year with high waisted belts and knee length designs. Warehouse seem particularly to like there Blues and Greens this season, along with their black and grey monotones.

The last dress pictured to the right is another favourite of mine, River Islands piped Grecian dress is now only £20, and it goes great with flat gladiators!

Asda sell a range of dresses from £8 and Tesco and Sainsburys also sell some nice summer dresses for reasonable prices. Matalan has some good choices for the bargain hunter too.

If your struggling to decide what to wear to a party or event in the next 2-3 months try going for something like bright block colours with high waistlines. Bandeau peplems are a great way to make an impression and if you want a real eye catcher go for a one shoulder floral!

Always try to buy something you know you can wear more than once. I have loads of dresses that I wear time and time again for loads of different occasions. A good dress with a good pair of shoes is a must for any woman's wardrobe.

Nice Legs...

Wet Look leggings have been a craze for a few months now and I must say I do own a pair, yet I find them rather uncomfortable so I don't wear them often now. Almost everywhere sells these fashion wonders and they now come in a wide variety of styles. They go great with some high gladiators and a long tunic. These zip side leggings are £19 from river island.

Skinny Jeans have been around for ages now, and fashionistas all over the world have devoured them. But now were hitting the beaches skinnys aren't really a great way to go! Keep your skinnys for evening wear and glam them up with high heels, a good top and a few accessories for a great look.

Shorts are back! as we see every year people are digging out their old denim's and hitting the sandy shores. Shorts are great summer apparel, and a good pair need never be thrown out. These denim shorts; £20 from newlook are a great summer accessory that will last you all year!

The Playsuit! I've got to admit I wasn't to keen on these when I first saw them though now I own one I love to wear it! they're comfortable and stylish and great for summer, whether your at the beach or at a party these items can be teamed with heels or flats to create a perfect outfit. The one pictured right is £30 from miss selfridge.

Top Notch...

Again another item that floral prints have invaded this season, many shops are selling floral print cami's and vests.

Also popular is salior print tops, I think this one pictured right, £10 from newlook is ever so cute!

Oversized tees with large prints of animals such as tigers and lepoards are popular once again, this one here from Warehouse is £22, and I absolutly love it.

Long line t-shirts with the new pocket fad are always a favourite amoung highstreet shoppers, and if you look around your always bound to find one person wearing one. This one pictured from topshop, £16, I personally own and love wearing, great with high gladiators and wet look leggings!

And as always, gracing our wardrobes again are ever popular cami's coming in thousands of different styles its aways good to have a few gorgeous cami's in your cupboard. They can be worn for any occasion, whether your meeting friends for coffee or going out on the town. This one from miss selfridge £25 is another that I own and adore. The fabrics got a gorgeous sheen to it that makes it elegant and feminin.
