Finding the Perfect Jeans for a Big Booty
95
Before I begin, let me just start by saying I am the proud owner of some serious booty. I’m half middle-eastern and I take after the women on that side of the family. My older sister (same father, different mother) takes after her (Irish) mother’s side of the family. 10 years ago, while holidaying together, my sister asked our father how you could spot a Persian woman.
His answer? (And I quote) “They’re usually short and have a big butt – like your sister.” That being me. Thanks, Dad.
Actually, I should be thanking him, because until that day, I really didn’t know I had one. I always just thought I was semi-fat, because I could never find a pair of jeans that actually fit my booty. Why? Well, because my legs and waist were a size 6, but my butt so wasn’t having any part of that. Why not? Because Levi’s (and most other brands back then) seemed to think every woman on earth was booty-less. So a butt like mine could only fit into a pair of 10’s.
The problem with that, was the waist was too big and gapped up, making me look 5 months pregnant. Or, the thighs were too big – which made me look like I was packing 10 gallon saddle bags. Ladies, a tip you can apply to most aspects of fashion – clothing several sizes too big only makes you look several sizes bigger. Unless you’re Kate Moss, in which case, you'll just look like you need a ham sandwich, or three.
8 Tips for Finding the Perfect Jeans for a Big Booty:
1. Stretch is your friend!
By “stretch”, I’m referring to jeans that have a combination of cotton and spandex. No, not a lot of spandex. A little dab will do, we don’t want you looking like you belong in an 80’s workout video! How much? 99% cotton, 1% lyrca is a good blend. Just enough to give. We don’t want it getting all out shape to the point it makes you look like you’re the next size up.
2. Dark colors will brighten your day!
If you’re a truly bootilicious woman, you’re probably conscious about your size on occasion. Wearing light blue is the equivalent of wearing white. You will look at least 50% wider in the hips, if nothing else. We want to embrace our booty – cos, let’s face it, big booty is sexy – but we don’t want people focusing on it too much. Dark blue has a nice slimming effect. I personally recommend avoiding black, as it has a tendency to go yuck when it fades. Not flattering.
3. Buy the smallest jeans with stretch that you can *fit* into.
Yes, you read that correctly. And by “fit" into, I mean get all the way zipped and still be able to walk. I say this because stretch jeans WILL stretch a bit. If you buy your regular size, by the end of the day they will be too big in some areas. If you buy the next size down, they will stretch as well, usually resulting in a nice, sexy mold of your body. I am not recommending you wear skin tight jeans and be uncomfortable. I personally hate that look. I’m recommending you buy a tight-ish fit, bum around your house in them for an evening, and then put them away in a pre-stretched mode. Next time you put them on they should feel nice and form fitting, but not uncomfortable.
Nike: Proud to have a nice round boo-taay!
4. Stick with a classic Boot Cut
If you have a big booty and you slip into some Skinny Fit, Flare or otherwise obviously styled jeans, that is going to draw attention to your jeans, which will only make your booty look bigger. Your best bet is a simple boot cut jean, that straightens your leg and doesn’t draw too much attention to the contrast between thin legs and a big booty. Nor do you want to draw attention to big thighs by wearing something tight around your knee and calves. I see a lot of people recommending a flare leg to even out a big booty and wide hips. My advice is to take each pair of jeans as they come – because this advice often draws people’s attention straight to the waist, hips and thighs – and keeps it there. Which probably isn’t where you want it.
5. Low rise jeans are not as bad as you think.
This style does wonders when you have a normal sized waist, normal hips and thighs, but a big booty. As I mentioned earlier, finding jeans that fit the booty often results in extra material gapping at the waist. Low-rise jeans prevents that for obvious reasons. Just make sure you check the rise – if you are petite from the waist down, a regular low rise jean might still reach your hips, causing the same problem.
6. We want high pockets set close to the center.
You don’t want pockets set low, they will make your booty look saggy. You also want them set close to center, cos the more lateral they appear, the wider your booty will look!
7. And now, the most important part!
The "yoke" is the key factor in the booty coverage. Look at the pic up there and you'll see a nice example of what I mean. The part below the waist and above your pockets – that strip of fabric there – that’s the most important part of the booty coverage! A lot of jeans have a thin, rectangle shape there, which results in little coverage for the arc of a big booty, resulting in the dreaded plumber style. You want this part to form a wide, soft V shape, coming to a point over your pockets. This will help your butt look more curved from the top, and give it a lifted look.
8. Lastly, my jeans recommendation:
You don’t have to spend 200 bucks on a pair of jeans to get good coverage. I have tried countless brands over the years, and nothing suits my booty like The Gap’s Stretch, Low Rise, Straight waist, Boot Cut jeans. I love them, and they are highly affordable. Do you some booty exercises, and your jeans will look even better. Alright, ladies, go out there and get you come booty lovin’ jeans and don't forget - real men love curves!

You're very welcome, Lara! :))) Took me 10 years to figure it out, myself. ;)
You're article is great and very informative. I, as well, love Gap jeans, but the issue I'm having is that I have a 30 inch waist and 51 inch thighs. I can't find any jeans to fit me. I have tried everything and every brand. Unfortunately, but fortunately, some of them do come in my size. The problem is that I have absolutely no stomach at all and for some reason the jeans that I do purchase, always end up having a lot of stomach room, so I end up with extra jean that I did not pay for. Can you please advise on where I can find something more suitable for my size? Thanks.
Hi Charlotte! I'm glad you liked the article, thank you! :) My advice to you would be to check out the Rise in your jeans. They are not all equal, and neither are our bodies! If you have a flat stomach and the hips fit correctly, you might simply have too high a rise.
For example, Im short, but I have longish legs for my height. Which means I have a shorter torso. So if I buy regular length jeans, the rise that would be normal (the distance from crotch to waist) is too long for me.
The result is a gaping waist that wont stay up, or pooches out.
The solution (if this is your issue) is to try and find low waisted jeans to offset this problem. Or you can try to find some regular jeans with specific rise, websites often list measurements.
I hope this helps! Good luck!
You have totally hit the nail on the head! The only thing I hadn't figured out yet was #7.
Let me just say that there is nothing sexier than a good looking woman with a nice round booty. That's all I got.
Stacie - Thank you! :))
James - LOL. Thats plenty. ;-)
I only have abt an 8inch difference between my waist and hips... I'm a pretty curvy woman and have a decent size but I have a difficult time finding jeans that give me the hour glass figure I'm looking for... I'm tall, have a long torso and unfortunately do not have a flat stomach....
My problem is how to get jeans that dont sag in front! I am well blessed in the booty section and my jeans look great from behind ( well if you ignore the gaping waistline) My front however always sags a,d I have to wear long shirts to cover it! Any ideas ? Oh and I am tall with heavy thighs and a smallish waist
Bee - I'll have to think about that one.. I'm not sure at the moment.. :)
Becca - The answer to that is probably super low rise jeans. the rise is the part from crotch to top of the jeans waist - if its gaping on you, there's likely too much material there.. i have this problem too. My suggestion is going into a jeans shop and trying on very low rise - if you are naturally petite in that area (this doesnt mean skinny, this means shorter than the average woman) super low rise will look more like a normal length on you. Honest, its the same issue I have. A 10 inch rise suits most women fine, but on me its super high! :)
I agree with James. Having a booty is definitely something a woman should be proud of.
We can never have too many men in agreement with that. ;)
Have you seen the fits of the new Old Navy jeans! Jeez louise they are tight! lol
skinny low cut waist jeans? oh what a wonderful jeans that shows the precious property that the girls have!
I stumbled on your article looking for advice on buying my younger sister jeans. She is at the age where she is now taking an interest in looking nice. Anyway, google turned up a whole lot of articles and videos on big booties, but yours was the only one I found with advice. -Thank you
Glassvisage - Haven't seen them, unfortunately! No Old Navy over here....
BigBoy - Glad you like them!
Christine - Thank you! I hope it helps!!!!! :))))
I read your blogs and I have taken your advice on the rise of my jeans, but I still seem to have a HUGE gap in the back of my jeans. I have not tried the super low rise, because most of them do not come in longer inseams. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Gap makes super low rise in length 32 and 34, give them a try.. or are you longer than that? Though I have to say, a gap in the *back* is not something women with big booty experience.. our trouble is finding more coverage, not less.. are you someone with a big booty? If so, I can't imagine why you'd have a gap in the back.. a gap in the front, yes.. but not the back...?
Yes, I have a lot of booty and a very small waste. Did I say a lot of booty. The 32 and 34 inch inseam jeans don't seem to work for me. I definitely need an extra long 36 inch inseam. The inseam is not the issue it's getting them to fit around my waste.
So you meant the gap is in the waist, and not in the back of the jeans? Then your problem is in the rise - you need to get ultra low. If supermodels with 8 mile legs can find them, I'm sure you can too! You sound tall! Try the Gap's Long and Lean! :)
Hmmm, great hub, but I'll play safe with my comments and say two things:
1. Lucky you.
2. Yes, men love big curves.
Hello Isabella, first off darling,I,just like to say I,love a woman with curves and booty.Though I,enjoy all women.I,admire your honesty and excepting your big booty.I,know I,don't know you,Isabella, but you are a lovely beauitful woman.
I would agree to Kenny, at least partially :) I usually prefer pronounced curves, no matter small or big...
I should have read this article before I went out and bought 2 black semi-stretch jeans that fit my hips just right in the mall fitting room but are now too loose and a bit grayish. Oh, and did I mention that they're also around three inches too big at the waist? :-p
This has been my problem since high school. The only jeans that fit my hips and thighs are too big around the waist. I used to think there was something wrong with my body, now I believe there's something wrong with the jeans! Haha! :-D Great article, Isabella.
Kenny - Thank you! :)
Deon - Thank you, too! :)
Misha - Well we finally agree, lol. :)
Susan - We've all been there!! And it's definitely just the jeans - your body is just fine, I'm sure! :)
Thanks for the tips!
You're welcome :)
Beautifully written! I am constantly, constantly trying to find jeans for my 23" waist & 37" hips! I found a pair once ... but they stopped making them & I can't even find on eBay! I will definitely try The Gap, I've never thought of their jeans as sexy .. but if you say so, I'm going to try this one out! The Italian Booty is a proud one!!
Thanks, Juli! :)
WAT?!!! yo girl you really answered my issue...because i have the issue BOTH ways...big booty...AND big thighs...so finding a pair of jeans to go ove ALLL of THAT?!!!...is VERY difficult!!! and might i say this article has helped me BIG TIME!!! because i am a from the south where men down here LOVE curves and i NEVER hated myself because i got curves...but now that you've helped me...i can SHOW OFF with out actually looking bad!!!and i noticed you be having some GOOD ARTICLES!!!

TSG - Thank you, you're so sweet! I'm glad it helped! I hope it helps you find the perfect jeans for your booty! And I'm glad you like the other articles, too. :))
Isabella! Great HUB! That section of the jeans you were searching for in #7 is called a 'YOKE'. In the '70 they also referred to that section in a cutting pattern as the saddle cut...
I've dealt with these type of problems for many years in my tailor-shop. I also agree that clothes have to be great fitting; not too big but neither should they look too tight.
Great HUB as always
regards Zsuzsy
Zuz!! Yes!!! The yoke!!!! Thats it!!! Thank you!, I'm going to edit that right now! :))
Wow thanks for the advice. im half middle eastern also and i have such a hard time finding jeans that go over the booty and my smaller waist. this article has really helped me. now i just need to go out and find something.. ugh it can be so annoying..

Have you really seen big bootys? Take a trip to Africa....bet there are booys that wont find ANY jeans to fit...trust me! Nice hub Isabella.
This is all so right. I hate when I put on jean and in order for my butt to fit the waist is always too big. Thanks for the suggestions- I love my bubble butt, if only more designers did!
KUDOS & THANK YOU!!! I too am the owner of a big butt (african american/ creole dcent also causes big booty syndrome)! these tips are EXCELLENT!!! I love the nike ad you posted **which is now my desktop background. I LOVE YOU ISABELLA!
Great advise, now I know how to find better fitting jeans. Thanks Isabella! Now how about a treat for all your readers and post a photo of your Bootay! I'm sure it's beautiful just like your headshot! No, I'm not gay, it would be a good way to demonstrate the proper fit of a pair of jeans! And, I'm sure we would all enjoy it! Thanks...
fat bottomed girls you make the rockin world go round.
name that band...and if it applies to you email me. wink
This is a great hub. I was trying to find jeans to fit my mega booty/bitty waist last month. Wish I had had your hub, but I did find Old Navy. The make a cut now called the sweetheart which works well with the booty problem. On a bonus, they are also great butt jeans, as in they make your butt look good.
Finally! Big booty girls unite.
Zahra - I hope the advice works for you. :)
Soyelude - Thanks!

Mrs Boone - LOL, I hope you enjoy the screensaver. :)

Broalex - Thanks!
TravelBD - Thanks!
...is it odd that i plan to show my girlfriend this article? and is there a way to do that without her getting upset? lol...
Hey you should try Jeans by PZI. Go to pzijeans.com. I have never in my life been able to find jeans. I have a small waist and a bubble butt and big thighs, my hips are not all that wide everything is behind me and all three of my sisters have flat butts. Theses jeans come in 31, 34 and 36" inseams for those of you that are tall. They are a little on the expensive side but look at the clearance. I have purchased 5 pairs from there site and only one did not fit but they fit my friend perfectly. Let me know what other options you hear of. I see you mention the Gap jeans but I have never tried them. Thanks, Denise
Isabella - BRAVO! As fate would have it, I found your Hub after a night of jean shopping where I literally tried on 18 different pair! ARGH! Came home empty handed! Ladies - who knew we'd need a support group...gotta love the internet. I'm a 12 in the waist and probably more like an 18 in the hip/booty region. I hate HATE going shopping for jeans.
Good advice on Gap - haven't tried. Not sure why, guess the stigma of all their skinny models. Also, great tip on PZI jeans, Denise. I'm going to check eBay for those, too.
For plus sized girls, Lane Bryant has a new sizing system called "Right Fit". Blue tags mean your waist is considerably smaller than your butt. Just fyi. My only complaint with these is the random "V" on the back pockets...to me, it just screams "Hey, these are Venezia jeans from Lane Bryant, the fat girl store!" Maybe that's just me. :P
Blizzard - Erm, good luck with that..
Denise - I'll look it up, thanks. :)
Alycurry - Thanks! I hate shopping for them, too! Hope you find something good! :)
LOL maybe I'm hanging around the wrong kind of Persian but at least 95% of the slim built ones (like myself) that I've come across had, er, "normal" size asses. Maybe big booty is more a dilemma for us half-Persians. A 25" waist with a 37" hip/ass is a lot of junk for me to carry around, but somehow I've managed. To jiggle incessantly during any kind of activity, that is. Ack!
I'm certain I got my love bumper from my American mom though. BUT, my mom's ass is like two halves of a pumpkin--big and hard. Hmmm!
Your article has helped me and I can't wait to apply your suggestions for toning down the fatty ass. :D
I'm glad it helped, good luck!
Hi Isabella...........I am also have middle-eastern like you with Irish half.I am 5'9" tall and my butt size is 44".I usually wear 34" waist jeans which stretches to accommodate my big waist.
I want to know how can I find pant or jeans that are so tight to show and outline my under crtotch details (cameltoe).I found this so sexy on other women and want to show it too ..............a little exhibitionist!!
Any advice on how to wear a jeans or a hotpant detailing or outlining my under crotch shape and butt middle line?
ok so i LOVE ur recomendation but i want the skinny jeans but i don't want them to make my bootie look big
Hi Isabella,
Thanks for the tips - I'm swedish, german, english, french, dutch, finnish mutt (practically albino) and I have a serious booty with a small waist. It is so tedious trying on a million pairs of jeans! I'll try to be more observant of the spandex %.
Beth I see we have a lot in common. I'm german, french, irish. dutch. welsch, swedish, and american indian. Must be some of those that gives me my big butt.
My waist is 26 and my hips are 40. My problems is of course finding something that fits my butt but also my legs and waist. Not to mention I will only wear stretchy jrans. On top of all that, the regular sized jeans are too short. I need longs. I'm going to try the gap. Hopefully it has a long enough inseam
my boyfriend loves my big booty but everyone looks at me all the time
I am very glad that I stumbled upon this website because I am a 17 year old girl with a huge but and huge thighs and I needed some advise on how to dress my body type. So thank-you very much =)
What brand jeans are those in the photograph at the top of page? It's really hard find jeans with a "V shape" in the back for us bootylicious women...any suggestions?
That Hokytonk Badonkadonk!! Whhoo wee!! Nice article!
Hey this is great! I haven't bought a pair of jeans in 5 years and I now feel confident to go out and find my perfect pair of jeans!
Great content! I'll refer back after I have the baby! My booty isn't inherited, probably. Oh, and Fat Bottomed Girls is a Queen song. Freddy Mercury's background was Persian, too, I think. Interesting....
This is way too true, and I wish so many of these women out there would understand this
"I am not recommending you wear skin tight jeans and be uncomfortable. I personally hate that look."
-Nicki B.
I am so f..... greatful for this site, I live in Toronto, Canada and trust me I try hard to find Jeans that fit, only to be dissappointed by the cut LOL, If people only know what I go through it can get depressing hunting for clothes that fits I usually have to adjust the waist line because its too BIG.
I went to the pzijeans.com web site and yes I am happy to see women like my self in jeans there! Thanks for making this site
thanks so much i have a massive ass and people i know are jealous so guys dont be upset with what you got..
I took all of your rules and found my most fantastic pair of jeans EVER... dark blue, low-rise, boot-cut, short leg jeans from Express. I've never spent so much money on a pair of jeans ($70!!!!!), but I've also never gotten so many compliments on my jeans! Now, I look at my ba-dunk-a-dunk and my thunder thighs as blessings :)
Its good to see a fellow Persian (half or full it doesn't matter because a Persian booty is a Persian booty) coming up with solutions to flatter her beautiful body!
You have some great tips! Thanks!
ANd when you find a pair that looks good, buy ten of them!
I need to know where to find some cheap Jeans for ma booty
I really like this hub- there is some great info here. I must say that when I was in high school, I stayed away from the Gap, thinking that the sizes wouldn't fit my "big booty" frame, but in college I bought a pair of capri stretch jeans from Gap and they were the best fit ever! I started buying their jeans then & haven't stopped since! Also, I find that Old Navy stretch fits as well-- Don't need to drop a ton of cash to look good!
Thanks for the hub! I hate jeans shopping, and I would like to confirm that the stretch factor is major in the jeans I pick. :D
just had to read your hub because I enjoy woman with the big booty. Most men do and I am no exception. Good info maybe it will help me in my future with woman.
I liked this
wow! Thank you! I'm not fat but I've been having a lot of issues with my weight... mainly because I can't fit into any jeans!!! This summer I tried on so many pairs of shorts but I can never get them up over my butt. lmao. Now, I won't give up!
So what am I doing reading this hub? Lets just say I've always been a fan of...uh...GOOD WRITING. Another great hub. Thanks!
hey great article!! was just wondering what size jeans you wear? im 5' 2" 110 with a tiny waist and 40" hips/butt.....and can squeeze into a size 6 usually....but should i go a size up or down? everyone always thinks its odd that my butt wears a size 6 why is this?
Hey Isabella,
I wanna know where to find the jeans that are pictured at the beginning of this article. Those are hott and what I am looking for. Thanks
I could have used this info when I was growing up. J-LO and Kim Kardashian have nothing on me. thanks for good information for us big booty girls!LOL
This is awesome!
Thank you so very much. Big booties run in my family...and my family doesn't mind telling me that I have one. This should help next time I go shopping.
Thanks Isabella, You just made me feel better. I always had been a little uncomfortable because of my booties. I never had a problem in finding jeans that fits me though. I have a couple of streathes I love and feel comfortable in. But I have always worn shirts or blouses which covered my booties very well. Exposing myself in any manner was never part of me.
To all of you bootylicious sisters out there I have felt and still feel your pain. While I am proud to have a big butt is it hard to find jeans to show it off. Kinda pricey (a good pair of jeans that fit is worth it), try Lucky wonder jean. The buckle even altered them for me free of charge to fix the little bit of gap in the back. The wonder jean also has the "V" shaped yoke in the back. The altering didn't look like grandma stitched them up either. I couldn't even tell. They fit great and will always buy my good jeans there.
I just wanna say that first of all isabella you did a wonderful job with this write up... I too have a bootylicious butt, and a small waist. My favorite jeans come from a website here is the link www.pzijeans.com these jeans are made to fit women with curves and big bootys ... like ours.
Joe's Jeans in Noney. i swsear by them!!!!
nice article,im going to try the gap...Im a 27' waist and 41' in the butt!! and i dread buying jeans.ive gotton rid of so many "trendy"style jeans from my closet that just were never going to work with my out of high school style...right now im working with only 2 pairs of the same style jeans just different washes and the cost was 230$!!!a pair(the only ones that fit/looked great after 5 hours in nordstroms)...im for sure going to the gap i need denim again in my life(at a resonable price!)
what size do yall think i should get if im a 25" waist and 38" hips? im thinking a size 5?
Omg im 13 and i know that sounds young but i am really tall with a big butt. i am 5' 11" and no im not skinny. i inherited that from my momma. it is hard to find jeans that fit. i got some from oldnavy but the waist was way to big. i have a 33 in. inseam and i wear a size 18. this has helped me and my mom out tremendously. thankyou so much.
Wow, this article helped me out a lot! I'm 5'8 and wear a size 10-11 cos of my big butt, and lately I've been having trouble finding nice jeans that fit me right. Especially since skinny and flare are all the rage right now, and like you said, people think women have no butts. But this article definitely helped out a lot. Now i have weapons to attack the jean section of stores, and not be so intimidated anymore by jean shopping. Thank you soooo much! :)
my waist is 24" and my hips are 38" so what size jeans would i be?
Big booty girls unite. Thanks for the information. I will stop being frustrated over my big booty and lack of available jeans. I plan on visiting the GAP this week and will check out PZIjeans.com.
i just stumbled onto this site when searched 'best jeans for big butt'. Thank you for tips #5 and #7. I have tried all of the others, but I think this should do the trick. I am anxious to get my hands on a pair of these Gap jeans!!
Big butts are great, stop trying to come up with ways to hide them. The only guys who don't enjoy a nice big, round butt are the ones who enjoy nice big, round man butts. Shake em ladies.
Isabella its really interesting to read all this. Great job done. Looks like now I am loving big butt gales :)
I too have a good sized bootie. In fact that is probably the feature I get the most compliments on. This article was fantastic! Especially since you were right on on everything! I do wear Gap stretch flare jeans! The flare works better for my 5'9 height but I know what you mean about it drawing attention. I'll have to send this on to my boyfriends family now since they are all Persian and would love this! Good job!
I own a bubble butt..25 waist and 40-42 hips..I have no idea why, i´m swedish and am supposed to rock a more appleshaped butt.. but I guess the butt magic arent racistic. :) I can never find pants, but I always buy pants that are a couple of sizes to big and wear with a small belt but they get wrinkly on the waist. cannot understand why they don´t produce more jeans sizes, calculated by various body types instead. it should not be so very hard, they could do like 5 different shape variations. anyway I can recommend swedish brand cheap monday, they are very very strechty.
btw..ofcourse its good to rock a bubble butt because most men likes it, and I feel impressive and with great stamina (lol) but sometimes I get evil glares from girls..some actually think I do a sort of pout-out like a wannbe pinup but I never do, I+m just built that way..! well they´re just jealous ;)
I am also in the big booty club! I love this article and I will use these tips for my next jean shopping trip. I will also give low rise another try after reading this because they have really been on my hate list :-)
You girls are crrrazy! trying to hide the booty. Big booty on the mall is like the pied piper leading all the guys to their ruin. They all form a bee-line to give praise and thanks, one-by-one.
And I am outraged that there isn't a single big brand catering for the (however scarce) big booty community. I thought they'd be falling over themselves to get their brand mark on the best thing going out threre. They're nuts, is all I can say.
So where does Beyonce/J-lo/Jessica Alba/ get their little shorts and jeans ?.
So where can you buy these hot hub jeans?
I am in the same dilemma, but even worse because I'm only 4' 11" so even petites are sometimes too long! At 33 I thought I'd have found the perfect jeans by now. I just bought some Levi's 529 "curvy fit" jeans. First I ordered size 4 petite and they were too big. When I wanted a 2, JCPenney said they didn't carry a 2. I called Levi's and they said to try Sears. Low and behold Sears.com had them on sale for $22! Woo hoo! I've had them on for 2 days now and am not totally satisfied, but they're the best fit I've had since high school - or at least since they started putting spandex in all the jeans. Anyway, the Levi's 529 curvy fit are good (a little long on me) but still a little too big in the waist and a tiny tight in the crotch at first, but after you have them on for a while they loosen up. I am planning on making some modifications on the sewing machine after I wash them and wear them a couple more times. I could still use some suggestions that come in petite sizes 2 or 4!
P.S. So, I had to return those other jeans that didn't fit. While I was at the mall with my toddler, I thought "hey, I'll try Express and Gap jeans! Maybe they WILL fit!" Wrong. The Express ones were still too big in the waist and a tiny bit low in the back. The Gap Curvy fit were definitely too low. The Gap Long and Lean fit better but still had a tremendous gap in the back. If I bought them (on sale) I'd have get them altered - taking in about 3" in the back. There have got to be more women out there dealing with this than the jeans companies realize. I took my measurements last night and I'm a 26" waist, 35 1/2" hips. Isn't that pretty close to the 10" difference that we ladies are supposed to be? I have to add that I REALLY can't stand jeans that are too low in the back, but I do like them below my belly button in the front. This is how the Levi's 529s fit. On me they kind of make a V in the front, so a belt would not help the small gap in the waist (it just makes the crotch too tight). So, I'm still sticking with my Levi's 529 Curvy 2 Petite for the moment. Levi's people, if you are reading this, could you please make a version that has another half inch in the crotch and minus an inch in the waist? Oh, and length choices down to the half inches. I think I need 27 1/2 inseam. I'd be quite happy then. Please name it 530 or 529perfect, so I'll know what to buy. And hey, you people who say "just get them altered" - you know that makes extra seams and bulk in areas we don't want bulk in. It messes up the waistband.
The info was great i also have a hard time finding jeans for my butt but thanks for the insight it really helps and i know more info then i did before and i am going to try your ideas
I love apple bottoms cause they profile the beauty of the phenomenon which is the "Big Booty".
Ok, I have a nice round booty and I love the low cut jeans they fit perfect in the front its the back that I have a problem with. For one they come down everytime I bend over which leaves me showing my plumbers crack and personally I think that is corny but I don't want to go witha higher waist because then they look stupid in the front So how can I fix this problem? I have tried every jean you can think of. From pricey to cheap nothing seems to fix the problem and if I go up one size they look baggy in the front. HELP please.
Thanks for your advice. I love Jeans but I don't quite find jeans that suite me because of my big booty also.
Very good idea!
PR: wait... I: wait... L: wait... LD: wait... I: wait...wait... Rank: wait... Traffic: wait... Price: wait... C: wait...hey cindy..butt crack is more popular than cleavage nowadays. Leave it alone, that really turns men on.
You rock! Being 1/2 Greek, I totally understand your dilemma! Thanks for the advice -- I'm soooo going to buy a pair of 1% stretch jeans in a smaller size! :)

Nothing is sexier than a big booty.
Nice Works
Hey ladies,
I dunno if anyone has answered this yet, but the jeans pictured @ the beginning of the article are by eckoRed. They fit great if you are someone with a very small waist and huge bottom. If you have any kind of stomach at all though, beware because they will cut into it n give a muffintop appearance. Hope this helps. Luv 2 all my big booty sistas!

There is a new brand of jeans that I came across that where absolutely fabulous for curvy shaped women of all sizes. The brand is Little in the Middle, and this jeans line caters to all sizes of women that have a curvy shape. One of the most interesting thing that it does; is that it is sized one size smaller in the waist than in the hips, so it eliminates that awful gap in the back of your jeans that let your rear end hang out while seated while offering a great fit. I think that this would be a great addition to your listing of jeans brands for future articles. www.Littleinthemiddle.com
Sorry Ladies I meant it does not hurt to express your creativity sometimes. If you decide to put your mind to it you will exceed at anything you do. If you can't find what you are looking for please don't beat yourselves know that in time everthing will be all right. Trust and believe in yourselves. Blessed Be
If your looking for jeans that do not gap or show your booty crack LOL! Check out www.littleinthemiddle.com Finally, Jeans that fit your curves.
Good article!
I AM NOT ALONE!! pheeew! i thought i was abnormal! my thighs and booty are full compared to my waist and jeans that can get past my thighs are pretty loose for my waist! its really frustrating 2 get a perfectly fitting jeans! but i think it would be easier now thanks to your tips!
one lil question.... do you think skinny jeans looks good on girls with curvy thighs and full booty...some of my friends tell me i rock in skinny.... but i think my booty and thighs pop out!?
I found a new jeans company website named Little in the middle. There jeans are made for the curvy ladies!!!!
This is an amazing article. I'd give you a score of 1000 if I could. I rarely get an opportunity to purchase jeans while living out of the US and in the middle of nowhere - but when I visit home, I run to Levi's. They usually have a huge selection of jeans starting at around $20 a pair. Also, Express (formerly Limited Express), has amazing slacks with the same look as jeans. Thanks for getting word out!

THIS is an EXCELLENT write up Isabella. You articulated every single issue a 26 waist 38 hip girl like me has had and gradually figured out with trying to find the right jeans. I wish I'd read this a few months ago before buying my DKNY stretch jeans! They're perfect right after laundry, then they stretch a lil too much so I have to spray them with water and throw them in the dryer to shrink again.
Thanks for the article!
