No need to read that book anymore the movie has come out in theaters. No need to learn how our government actually works there are already people doing that for you. There is no need for you to have your own dreams for the future because America knows what will be best for you in the future and they will let you know. I hate that as Americans we just keep dumber and dumber. Nobody seems to understand that nothing is ever going to change without changing something. I can't wrap my head around the fact that people care more about the car they drive than the education of their children. I hate the fact that it glorified in our culture to be a criminal. Have you listened to a rap album lately? Nothing more than bragging about crime and degradation of woman. Does our government step in and do anything about it? No that would be wrong for the government to do but they think that it's fine to tell me that I can't eat trans fat. Guess what people, trans fat was good. All the fast food places have changed their oil so that there is no trans fat and it tastes awful. The government even stepped in and told me where I can and can not smoke. Yet they do nothing about the gang mentality from sweeping through our nation like wild fire. I live in a small town and I can see the urban influence on neighbor hoods first hand. There is no reason for the kids around here to act like they are from the street because that street was a dirt road about three years ago. I hate the fact that wearing your jeans half way down your butt is cool, I hate the fact that a child can't start a sentence without saying yo, and I hate the fact that our educational system is failing but nobody cares because MTV Cribs is on right now. I hope that as people we can grow past the damage that has been done and become a more industries country. I'm sick of getting our butts kicked in the things that truly matter by the rest of the world. America was once the best country in the world and with a lot of hard work it can become the best again.
