Fastpitch Softball T Shirts, yeah, it's a weird title for a hub, but before you run away let's take a look at what brought me here. Those of you that follow my Hubs know that I've found a rejuvenated passion for teaching and sharing some the skills of the game that was such a pleasure for me to play for many seasons at the highest competitive level. Fastpitch Softball gave me a lot of personal recognition as a player and afforded me the opportunity to play against some of the best male players in the world, in some of the greatest arenas, like the Olympic Sports Festivals as an example. And when I finished playing the game at a competitive level, I simply walked away, grabbed the Golf clubs to fill my competitive void and spent a whole lot more time at home on the weekends, probably much to my wife's chagrin. That is until my daughters started playing the fastpitch game and "wooha" I was back at the softball yard. And here's where you can imagine my surprise! There were softball teams everywhere! As a guy only focused on the mens game I didn't have a clue that the girls game was gaining so much traction. Unlike me many of my former teammates and players that I played against saw what I didn't, and today have forged out nice careers as Instructors, D1 college Softball coaches and even Olympic and Pan Am coaches. My point here is that I was blind to the fact that Fastpitch Softball was on the verge of becoming the industry that it is today.

Today the interest in the sport of Fastpitch Softball continues to grow, just go to any search engine and do a Fastpitch Softball search and see for yourself.

Yep, thousands if not hundreds of thousands search results come back for the term fastpitch softball. Some of the most popular results you'll find when you do this search (as outlined above from Wikipedia) are "girls fastpitch softball", "Fastpitch Softball bat", or "fastpitch softball bats." And it's easy to understand why. Girls fastpitch softball is probably one of the largest summer athletic programs in your community, yes, girls fastpitch softball is beginning to rival boys little league baseball throughout the country and that's no small feat. As this youth sport program grows in popularity it's easy to understand why Fastpitch Softball bat, or softball bats and even softball T-shirts are such a popular searches. The leading bat makers are no dummies and marketing to this ever growing group of softball players and softball parents is a lucrative focus.

If you're in the Baby Boomer demo you can remember as a kid playing a youth sport like softball or baseball and asking your folks for a few bucks to buy a new bat for the upcoming season. Dad would hand you a twenty like it was the shirt off his back and you'd head down to the local sporting goods store, maybe on your sting ray bike and browse through the bat rack and grab a wooden bat made of ash or hickory. Then just like the Beaver speaking to Wally or Lumpy you'd say "gosh this bat cost me fifteen bucks!" That was then, today the price of one composite fastpitch softball bat is comparable to the price your softball coach or manager would pay to supply your entire team with bats back in the day. But what hasn't gone up right? The better news is that these softball bats, while a bit more expensive are much more durable, get better with age (like us) and won't break with your first swing.

Okay, so let's get to the title "fastpitch softball T-shirts." Well, like me, it's simple. Everyone likes to express themselves in one way or another and the softball fan is no different! Think back to last years election, how many Obama T-shirts or McCain, Palin t-shirts did you see? They were everywhere you turned weren't they? You see people like you and me, we like a T-shirt that says how we're feeling. Like; "I'd rather be fishing", or "my dog is smarter than yours." Fastpitch softball players and fans are no different, which is why fastpitch softball or Softball tee shirts in general are so much fun. Go to any youth softball game and you'll see mom sitting up in the stands with a "softball mom t-shirt" on, right next to grandma who's tee shirt reads "I'm a proud softball grandma." Most often these Softball tees have the picture of their daughter or granddaughter pasted right on the front of the shirt, and mom and grandma couldn't be prouder. Many of these t-shirts come from Print on Demand companies like Cafepress, Zazzle or Printfection to name just a few. Just like I mentioned above when you go to the search engines and search softball T-shirts or tee shirts you'll find these three companies Printfection, Cafepress, and Zazzle at the top of the list. Yes, Fastpitch Softball has become and industry with in an Industry. The aforementioned companies aren't exclusive to the softball tee shirt product, they have a healthy supply of all kinds funny T-shirts, name the category, point and click and you'll see pages and pages of some very unique Tee Shirt designs.

As this sport continues to grow and more and more families get involved softball t-shirts with sayings or slogans have become the popular attire at Softball parks around the country and it's easy to understand why. They're the no brainer gift item for any softball player or fan. Unlike a softball bat that could set you back a few hundred dollars, or a softball glove that isn't much less, you can still get a softball T-shirt for around $20 bucks, and they're just not for the players like the bat and glove, a softball t shirt can be worn by everybody and with girls fastpitch softball basically becoming a year round sport they can be worn all the time.

Just like Softball bat companies, the softball T-shirt business has become very competitive and you literally have hundreds of companies/individuals to choose from. One of my favorites is Phastpitch Softball Gear a division of The Softball Clinic Instructional website, they have fun softball shirts and other softball goodies, another is Softball Outlet which is an official ASA (Amature Softball Association) website that offers up some cool USA stuff as well. But don't take it from me, if you're a softball fan with a little time on your hands, surf the web and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. After all Fastpitch Softball is growing so fast and so deep that if there is anything related to the sport you'll have hundreds if not thousands of options to choose from, this you can take from me, as I've crawled out from under the rock and have seen it for myself...
