You finish with the diet and go back to the lifestyle that you were living before, and before you know what has happened you have put back on all the weight that you had lost in the first place.

A healthy weight can only be achieved through a healthy diet, healthy exercise, by living a healthy lifestyle. So you most understand this first. It is all about what you put into your body in the first place. The thing that people find difficulty with these days is using their willpower. It's something that you're going to have to develop guys if you want to keep that weight off, you have to get used to going without, you have to get used to seeing those urges to eat as nothing more than an enemy that you will have to defeat sooner rather than later, before you let these weaknesses get the better of you.  Another of those really important and really essential parts of  a fat burning diet that you can’t go without is a decent program of exercise. Finally going to look at fasting, this is where you are attempting a fat  burning diet  by basically doing without food for extended periods of time.

Just as a small aside before we carry on, there is one big problem that I have ways quick weight-loss diets and that is the word quick. Although there are ways of losing weight over a short period of time, the word quick always gives people the impression that weight loss is easy, and it is far from easy.  Depending on how much weight you've got to lose, it can be very, very difficult. So I'm going to focus this hub on trying to convince anyone that is looking for fat burning diets to also investigate long-term solutions to their weight problems.

In order for you to go through a quick weight-loss diet first you must understand the implications of eating unhealthy food. A quick weight-loss diet is fine if you are trying to lose a couple of pounds so that you can go on your holidays this year and look good in your bikini or your Speedo's. But if you are obese and you are looking for fast solutions then quick fat burning diets are not for you. You are basically obese because you are following a healthy lifestyle. So along with trying to lose weight with fat burning diets, you must search out long-term weight problem solutions.  I want to talk about starvation diets and whether they are a good idea. I need you to understand that your body is going to try and switch itself off if you go down the root of starvation, it is just a mechanism that we've taken from our Stone Age days, the days when man hid himself away in caves and hunted every day for his food. Sometimes there was no food for days on end. And in those times the body actually went into a sort of hibernation where it would start storing as many nutrients as it could in the fat. The problem with this starvation diet is triggers these impulses in the brain, the brain thinks that it's being starved, and ceases to function properly, all it wants to do is conserve energy, so it makes you want to lie down and go to sleep. It follows then that starvation does not work as a fat burning diet.


Fat Burning Diets

On fat burning diets there are plenty of foods and substances which should be avoided at all times, one of the most important ones to avoid is sugar and refined carbohydrates. Sugar is an evil thing indeed. It has absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever, and it does do untold damage to your fat burning diet plans. Unfortunately there is a high content of sugar in a lot of foods. That means that anything you pull out of your freezer, put into your microwave, anything that has had a hand by human beings is more than likely going to contain sugar. Manufacturers add sugar because they know that we like it, it makes things taste good, it makes things taste better than they would do without the addition of sugar. The same can be said for salt. You must also refrain from eating any processed carbohydrates. This means no white bread, no white pasta, no cakes or confectionery of any kind, again these are heavily processed foods.

Now comes the moment for your willpower. When you are on a fat burning diet, you must use your willpower as much as you possibly can. Now if you are eating the correct food you will find that using willpower on any fat burning food diet to be quite a lot easier. But fat burning diets in general are going to burn up a lot of excess energy because you will be exercising, you will feel like eating more because of this but you have to use your willpower to stop this from happening. The first thing that you can do on a fat burning diet is to empty your fridge and cupboards of all that crap. That means taking out anything with sugar in it, anything with high refined carbohydrates, just take out all the crap, open up a big black bin bag, and put everything that is rubbish into them by, then you will take it outside and throw it in your garbage. It's as easy as that. If you leave any of this crap in your fridge, or in your cupboards, you're going to be in trouble because you are adding temptation; you are fighting against your own willpower. Staying on a fat burning diet is going to be difficult enough without giving yourself too many hurdles for you to jump across, so don't do it, get rid of everything. Another tip for any fat burning diets is not to skip from eating your breakfast as soon as you get up out of your bed. This is the most important meal of the day. You have probably heard this many times before, and there's a reason for it, because it is true. This is the best tip that anyone will ever give you. It just goes back to what I was saying earlier about the fasting or starvation diets. If you skip breakfast, your body is going to start thinking the same way. I know it seems silly but it is true.

We are now at a point in any fat burning diet where everybody tends to squirm because this is the part where I'm going to tell you that you need exercise. Why do you need exercise? Because without it you are not going to lose any weight regardless of how many fat burning diets that you go on. One of the best ways to do this is on high intensity interval training. What this basically means is that you are doing intervals of fast workouts to build up your strength build up your sweat, and build up your stamina. And you are interspersing slower recuperating workouts. For instance you will run 100 m, and walk 100 m and then you will do this in repetition. If you are already running you can jog for 100 m and Sprint for 100 m then go back to jogging for 100 m again. Do you see what I mean? You are speeding up, slowing down, speeding up, and slowing down. Also one of the methods I've been drawn to lately is Pilates. That is was invented by a guy called Joseph Pilate in 1920. He called it controlology. It focuses the core muscle groups and tries to bring about a body balance. Using the left is also going to not only help your fat burning diet but you also become more aware of your breathing, help your spinal alignment, strengthen your deep torso muscles.

For the last section on this hub about fat burning diets I am going to look into the area of fasting. I have already touched on this earlier and I have already said that I don't agree with it because it goes against your whole body’s natural instincts. Having said that, there are certain religions around the world that follow strict dieting regimes, for instance Muslims during Ramadan use fasting as part of their religious observances, and on the face of it doesn't seem to do them any harm. Maybe that is because they have been fasting in their religious observances for hundreds of years, so it may have got into the metabolic psyche of growth. I think that if you are going to go down this road for your fat burning diet, you should do so with lots of caution. Don’t start of on one big fast, you should start with several small sessions, maybe fasting for 12 hours at a time. Then you can think about extending your endurance levels further, by fasting for a full day.

Now I hope you understand the importance of good nutrition and a exercise healthy lifestyle. Fat burning diets, like I said are good for burning off a little excess weight for the big occasion where you want to fit into a dress, or if you are trying to fit into that swimming costume you had from last years vacation. When a fat burning diet is not going to work for you is when you are trying to lose a large amount of weight that you have gradually put on over years and years. What you do need is a long term overall weight loss program that is going to help you to lose weight in a sustainable way, you need to get plenty of exercise, and have a long-term exercise strategy which is going to gradually increase the push on your body. This is the only way that you can lose weight over a lengthy period of time. So once you understand the benefits of good nutrition and good exercise, and of course drinking plenty of water, you will be well on your way to having a healthy lifestyle. So I'm just saying that the first thing that you should do if you are trying to follow a fat burning diet is to stop taking all the sugar for a start. Then you have to start using your willpower. To begin using your will power you need to remove everything from your fridge, all the temptations that are going to be in your face, get rid of it all. My next point is about exercise, you can't do without it. If you're expecting to lose weight with fat burning diets you must get in as many sessions of sweat building exercise as you can possibly fit into your life.
