This love story started from a type of girl commonly called the ''Sticky Note Girl''. This type of girls are very simple-minded, easily satisfied & easily forgotten. They often make many small & insignificant wishes and are never somebody and they too, do not wish to be somebody. Despite their small contributions, they are people which we can't live without, just like a sticky note, neither eye-catching nor special, but we must have them by our side. One trip to the Star Cruise makes a very common girl experience a life-time miracle.

The girl is Xinyi. Since young, Xinyi was very afraid that people would dislike her, so she would always work very hard to treat others very well, mostly at the expense of herself. Once somebody responses to her well treatment, she would easily fall in love with him. Everyone called her the ''Sticky Note Girl'' as when they needed help, they could easily make use of her & throw her aside when not needed, just like a sticky note. But Xinyi is silly girl who looks upon relationships seriously. Being weak-minded, she would often soften at times when she should buck up and make her own decisions. A day came when she spent lots of money for a trip on the Star Cruise to rekindle her boyfriend's love for her. Her boyfriend, Gu Chi, was a playboy and had never treated Xinyi as his girlfriend seriously. On the cruise, Xinyi caught a cold and after eating her medicine, she walked dizzily towards her room (1006) while her boyfriend was busy flirting with another woman on board. On the other hand, a staff of the Star Cruise couldn't open the door of a room. In frustration, he finally successfully opened the door after using his body to bang on the door a few times. However, he did not realize that the banging of the door caused one of the numbers on the number tag on the door to change. The room number 1009 was changed to 1006. Xinyi, who was not in her clear mind after taking her medicine, walked into the wrong room without realizing anything. Meanwhile, the owner of the room 1009 was being sabotaged and drugged due to disagreements in business. When both of them woke up, Xinyi was shocked to realize that she had an one-night stand with a stranger & also depressed to find out that her boyfriend had ditched her for a wealthy lady onboard. However, the man whom she had one night stand with, helped her get back at her boyfriend and also offered her encouragement.

One month later, Xinyi realized that she was pregnant and regretted not commiting suicide while on the Star Cruise. Being a 25-year-old employee at a law firm carrying a debt of 20K because of her playboy boyfriend and carrying a child of a stranger, she was at a loss and could only blame herself for being stupid. She took a week's leave and prepared to return to her homeland, JiangMu island to decide what to do next.

That stranger whom Xinyi had a one-night stand with was Ji Cun Xi, a director of MoFaLing Enterprise. He was every girl's dream guy; young, gorgeous and wealthy. When a very normal working class girl crossed his path, it was unknown to say that it was a blessing in disguise or trouble brewing. Because of a family curse, for 9 generations, there is only one male in Ji family to continue the family name. This issue burdened Ji Cun Xi's grandma every night as she was afraid that the family name would end. She prayed hard that her grandson would be like other wealthy sons in other families who have many relationships. However, to her dismay, Ji Cun Xi was a very loyal lover in relationships and does not fool around. One day, maybe is the blessing of the ancestors, CunXi's granny accidentally found out about Xinyi being pregnant with CunXi's baby. She thanked the ancestors for bestowing her with a great grandson. By all means, she demanded CunXi to marry Xinyi so that when the day she breathe her last breath, she would be able to face the ancestors. CunXi's granny threatened CunXi that if he does not marry Xinyi, she would call the girlfriend whom CunXi has been dating for 3years to inform her about his wrongdoings. Being very much in love with his girlfriend, Anna, CunXi did not wish to hurt her and had to marry Xinyi, to hide the pregnancy from Anna. Despite marrying Xinyi, CunXi could not come face to face to accept the marriage and treated Xinyi badly. Without his realization, Xinyi's consideration and tenderness touched him and he slowly fell in love with her.

As for Anna, CunXi had proposed to her a few times and was rejected. She was a passionate ballet dancer and would rather choose her career over marriage. Despite being rejected and being stood up by Anna for more than 10 times, CunXi still loved her a lot and was willing to wait patiently till one day Anna could give up her career to live her life with him. With Anna away for a tour performance, CunXi was able to hide the pregnancy from her and he also signed an agreement behind his granny's back to divorce Xinyi once the baby is born. He also offered her a sum of money. For her child's future, Xinyi had no choice but to agree to his terms. As for CunXi, he planned to get back to the starting point where he could get back together with Anna once she returns from her tour performance.

Without knowing that CunXi was agreeing to marry her to conceal the truth of her pregnancy from Anna, Xinyi moved into Ji family. The 2 strangers started to learnt to get along with each other. Under the arrangement of CunXi's grandma, Xinyi moved into CunXi's room. CunXi took the chance to stay in the guest room, but he started to dislike the loneliness of sleeping alone. CunXi, who had always dislike having meals at home, started to come home for meals. He who swore never to lend a helping hand, also started to help in choosing & purchasing of the wallpapers of the baby's room and their baby's toys. Among all these blissful days, Anna came back and the neither did CunXi expected that the misunderstandings broke Xinyi's heart and she disappeared, leaving behind only a divorce agreement. CunXi, who initially thought that Xinyi's leaving was the best way to put an end to the troubles, regretted as he realized that he had fallen deeply in love with Xinyi and could not live without her. He then swore that if he could find Xinyi's trail again, he would definitely woo her back not in the position of a dad to his child's mother, but as a man to a woman.
